After listning to their new album, its almost as if the rest of the band are working around what martin is doing, as aposed to the oppisite which is obvious with the other drummers (adrian especially) , martin just brings this new extreme and even more complex element to cradle i dont think adrian or even nicholas could even think of doing.

Are there any other metal songs that have drum solos like this?

Martin is very musical, hence my favourite drummer Cradle of Filth has ever had. Other two Derek Roddy and Adrian Anderson are very close and they are all incredible, but I feel like Marthus's groove is the best for CoF. Barker is good, but like many people pointed out, very one-sided, though he's probably the fastest one of all drummers alive.

its a drum beat. its nothing flashy at all or anything which would be classed as a drum solo. its "Standard rock beat 1", and it has chants on top of it anyway...

Nick Barker is just a name in comparison to Martin. Respect is given to names Like Barkers but Skaroupka came into COF unknown and has surpassed his give to cradle.
