He can't choose only one, but Martin Yan introduces us to a few of his all-time favorite dishes including fish roulade, poached chicken leg, dipping sauces, eight flavor shrimp (or eight flavor prawn), and all of his favorite produce from the Chinatown market where he picks up a few ingredients for stir fry bok choy.

About Yan Can Cook:
After receiving his formal restaurant training in Hong Kong, Chef Martin Yan immigrated to Calgary, Canada where he was asked to appear in a daytime news program to demonstrate Chinese cooking. The rest, as they say, is television history. In 1978, he launched the groundbreaking Chinese cooking series 'Yan Can Cook' on public television. Infused with Martin's signature humor and energy, Yan Can Cook has gone on to become a global phenomenon and has won multiple James Beard Awards.

I have enjoyed watching Martin Yan, Yan Can Cook for 42 years. I love how he explains the ingredients and what he’s doing, and especially his knife skills. I’m so glad to have these shows to enjoy again.
