I saw her in concert about 15 years ago!! She sounds as good on the stage as she does on the video! She would go out in the audience and meet a lot of the fans! Wonderful person and a voice with a gift from God! ❤She’s the real deal!

Martina McBride is a rare artist. She has one of the strongest voices I've ever heard, with so much color and texture she can tell any story with it. She also has this great sensibility where she always looked to do songs that would have an impact, songs about social issues and relationships that can stop you cold, but some were just for fun. A good example is "When God Fearing Women get the Blues". Amusing song with a great video to go along with it. Recommended.

Martina is not typically a songwriter. She's said in interviews that she's felt that her gift has been interpreting others' songs. However, the first song she co-wrote is "Anyway," which is a great song. The Warren Brothers, well know Nashville Songwriters who have some of their own albums, convinced her to write with them. So I believe she's credited with co-writing 3 other songs, two more she recorded and one recorded by Joss Stone.

This song makes me cry every time I hear it. My mom loves this song it always makes her think of my younger cousin. He was born with AMC and he also had to wear braces on his legs. He has had more surgeries then most adults I know. The thing is he's beaten every odd a doctor has given him. They said he'd never walk let alone run but today he plays soccer, he's in Boy Scouts about to become an Eagle, he is in marching band. He taught our entire family what the power of hard work can do. He Is a miracle and I love that this song shows that.

The lines “Will don't walk too good. Will don't talk too good. He won't do the things that the other kids do. In our neighborhood.” Always get to me because I can really relate to it. I can walk but I can’t talk too good, I learned different because of my learning disability, I can’t do karate or any sports that involved being tackle because of having a type of cancer from when I was young age (don’t worry I’m cancer free now) and my hearing is 50% worser then normal.

This song reminds me when me of when my mom had cancer and after she shaved her head which was very hard for her she had chemo at st judes and there was a beautiful little girl about 8 parents told my mom that she was refusing to take off her hats it was the strength my mother needed to take her hat off. My sweet mother convinced that little girl to stop wearing the hat that they both won’t wear them no more my mom found out that girl passed away she helped my mom

I have an 8 year old grandson who has Cerebral Palsy and is Autistic. This song really made me think of him. Having a special needs grandchild has taught me a great many lessons in life, but the biggest lesson it has taught me. It has taught me how to love, laugh, and hope in ways I never knew existed. 1 John 4:18 says it best. "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love."
