Ben Haggard is the son who truly sounds like Merle. The others have a distinct Haggard sound but nowhere close to Ben. I’m grateful for all the boys though and that they are helping keep their dad’s music alive.

The greatest gift God ever gave to us on earth was Merle. His legacy is here! God left his sons to exhale the beauty of there vibrato, legato and beautiful baritones sound. It is MARTY'S singing that gives me strength and warm fuzzy hugs through his fathers shared music. It is difficult knowing his father has flew to heaven however, TO LIVE without his presence is a bit easier when i watch Marty . He is the older version of Dad then comes Noel, then comes Ben. I get inspired as an artist myself, seeing his gestures and mouth formations while he sings. Thank you dear God for keeping the boys here while there Daddy rests in your arms... it is so so healing.
