Hearing this song makes me shed a tear, not because I can relate to it but because I’ll never get to see Marty perform this beautiful song. RIP Marty you are missed dearly.
Very few singers can sing with such feeling like Marty Robins. I have been listening to him since I was a teenager. Now in the Autumn of my life I still listen to him. What a voice. Now he brings me back so many beautiful memories.
The falsetto note he hit was a "G," then an "E," and then a "C," coming down the "C" chord. I have heard of Tenors hitting falsetto notes, but Marty sounded like he had a Baritone voice, which made him very unique to be able to do that.
Well up until today I thought my Uncle a local celebrity he played Louisiana Hayride several times and sang like Elvis Presley keep in mind there were no RU-vid Tik Tok basically no internet we talking mid 80s when I first noticed the song on the local radio stations knowing Elvis never recorded this song and it sounded like Elvis PRESLEY WAS SINGING I THOUGH🎉T MY UNCLE HAD WROTE THE SONG BECAUSE UP UNTIL TODAY I had never heard anyone else sing it just Tip Crockett local Louisiana man. Just wanted to share my story with you this is a fantastic song being a musician myself the song goes well with different styles..
And I ask You, have You ever heard a more prettier, country song, sung any better than Marty sings this one. He was, and still is one of the GREATYEST of all Country singers. Sure do miss this REAL Country Music, not the crap they are trying to push on everyone today. Love this Man and all His songs. 5/26.18.
This song sings by Marty Robbins touched my heart and soul in so many ways. He is among the very best of all country singers. No wonder why I love country music so much.
I agree! Have you ever listened to Slim Whitman and his son Byron? They have the same sentiment as Marty. Don't Worry was played at my husband's funeral. We got to see Marty live a month before he passed. Love his singing so much and play his music every day.
I lost my Dad on his 80th birthday this year on the 24th October 2018. He took his last breath listening to this beautiful song. He was such a major fan of Marty Robbins all his life. We also played El Paso City at his funeral for his opening song.
I so love this song by Marty his voice is so powerful, he is the best of country music so much better than what they play today, his voice gets deep into my soul.

What a beautiful voice I just can’t stop listening to him sing his love songs, love it when he reaches the high notes, my favourite songs would be El Paso and fellena, my woman, don’t worry about me and devil woman.❤❤❤❤
had the sheer pleasure of seeing him many many times...great showman doesnt even come close to describing him. he actually put my little recorder under his piano stool to record for me and can you believe it, turned over my tape when first side ran out....and this from a #1 artist. no other will ever top him...
I never got to see Marty Robbins on stage, but I always heard he was a GREAT SHOW MAN and folks always got their moneys worth when he was performing. After seeing the videos of him on stage, I believe it and I regret never going to see him in person. I guess Joey Allcorn wrote the song "50 Years Too Late" for folks like me.
I love the Marty Robbins songs .He was very talented. I sing a lot of his songs at karaoke, but this is my favorite one ! People think i do a good job singing his songs !
I was always one of my greatest entertainers. I absolutely love Marty Robbins voice I don’t think there’s another country singer of the year that converge and knows he could reach. He was so versatile in his music. No matter what he saying it could be pop, country ballads even Hawaiian it was amazing!
Love me, oh love me Love me like nobody else can do Need me And just let me go one needing you Well if you want to try to make me over And there's something else that fits your plan It's alright if you would only tell me What it's going to take to be your man Love me, oh love me Love me like nobody else can do Need me And just let me go one needing you If you ever say you're going to leave me Lord I don't know what on earth I'll do I could never face a new tomorrow If I had to face it without you Love me, oh love me Love me like nobody else can do Need me And just let me go one needing you And just let me go on needing you
This is so beautiful, I have chills all over. Marty is for me the greatest!! Love me, oh love me Love me like nobody else can do Need me And just let me go needing you. Well if you want to try to make me over And there's something else that fits your plan It's alright if you would only tell me What it's going to take to be your man. Love me, oh love me Love me like nobody else can do Need me And just let me go needing you. If you ever say you're going to leave me Lord I don't know what on earth I'll do I could never face a new tomorrow If I had to face it without you. Love me, oh love me Love me like nobody else can do Need me And just let me go needing you. And just let me go on needing you.
He has been one of my favorite singer's since I was a child if there would have been anyone that I could have met it would have been Marty Robbins, he was a very blessed man. He was a singer, a boxer, a race car driver but most of all he was an entertainer. God Bless

Great song, and Marty just sang the shit out of it. It was written by Jeanne Pruett (of Satin Sheets fame) who was the wife of Marty's guitar player, Jack Pruett. What a wonderful and interesting time it was in Nashville.
@@moranmcmahon2056 As in the George Jones song Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes, he makes mention of Marty's name. Anyway, the answer to that question is nobody.
What a fucking stupid religitard thing to say, Marty's voice was the product of years of hard work and training, of course there's natural talent, but it has fuck all to do with a fairytale hateful sky daddy, don't take away from this legends legacy by lessening his talent and saying it's a, 'gift', from anyone. Asshole.
@@sandrajorabideaux2622 yeah, I wasn't speaking to you. Saying that, for someone who claims to be 'not religious', saying anything is a gift from god is a fucking daft statement. Ps, he's dead, he doesn't care what anybody says about him.
Finally one with all 3 verses. This is my all-time favorite song by my all-time favorite singer ever since I heard "White Sport Coat" way back when I was in High School.
