This was the golden age and pinnacle of Country Music! It just doesn't get any better. I'm so thankful for a lifetime of memories of outstanding music, song writing and artists! I was so fortunate to see so many of my favorite artists perform. It's not like today. They would appear in small venues, and you couldn't believe you were only thirty feet from Marty Robbins, Buck Owens, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, Freddie Hart, Don Williams, Merle Haggard, Jim Ed Brown, Statler Brothers, Mel Tillis, Ray Price, Jerry Lee Lewis . . . just to name a few, listening to all your favorite songs. What a treasure! I wouldn't trade it for the world! Their music has been a major part of my life. More precious than gold as far as I'm concerned. God bless them all! ❤🎶🎼
I did not appreciate Marty Robbins back in the early 70's when I converted from rock to country. What a talent. So sad that ge was taken so early. Two legends here for sure
I've watched this before, but I looked down at my phone and back up, and Marty never stopped singing to my ears, but Merle was singing to my eyes. Love it!
I love these two gentleman, such great showmen and talent. Marty had one of the most beautiful voices ever and for Merle to be able to duplicate it almost perfectly has always just made me smile. Awesome.
