Marty first met Connie when he was a kid as she was playing a state fair. He met her then and told her one day he would marry her, which he did in later years.
This is very difficult for them. Connie is a bit older than Marty. she has a substantial head start on him. We are all heading in the same direction, heading to be with our Lord. I'm in a similar situation with my wife being older than I. The thought of her passing before me is just devastating. I can see what Marty is going through. We don't want to have our life partner leave us. All the best to Marty and Connie. Make everyday count.

Marty Stewart and Emmy Lou Harris saved the Ryman Auditorium and is still use today .Thank you Emmy Lou ,Thank you Marty. Losing the Ryman would have been a mistake.
