And for some people it’s huge deal to buy a alto even second hand. So glad you understand this aspect also even after driving and keeping most expensive cars with you. That’s the reason I love watching your videos. Also, we bought alto 800 in 2011 as our very first car. Performs pretty well if it’s maintained. Also looks good if paired with alloy wheels. New alto on sale actually looks terrible as compared to this one. Now driving 2016 wagon r VXI. And right after getting Wagon R, i felt alto build quality of parts like windows plastic panels were much more great than new WagonR. And resale value was so high that the car which was worth 3 odd lacs while buying new, sold in 2016 with 55,000kms on odo for 2.17 lacs and that too, to maruti showroom itself. So that’s the sweet story of Alto
Owned this Car from past 8 years,Now Shifted to new 5th gen honda city,there is hell lot of difference between this two cars.. But Alto is an emotion to me❤

I still have the first model of Alto when it was launched in may, we bought the fourth car total of the 4 which was launched and it is still working with a mileage of about 21 kmph.

I drove my grandfather's first gen Alto LX last year. All I can say is if you drive that car daily you don't need to go to the gym 😂! Even though there were no features at all, the feel of driving an old car is simply unbeatable!
Use to own alto 2005 model now last sep have bought S Cross and there's a huge difference between the 2 cars . But in the end Alto is an emotion ❤ I still love that car

Max speed is 137kh/ph(same speed with alto 800 and alto since they have the same engine)-(47hp) Alto k10 can go faster since it has a more powerful engine(67hp). Even I have an alto, 2005 model.

We still have a 2008 model Alto lxi...n evn tday runs as smooth as butter! This car never has disappointed n I have done close to 110 on d highways..although it feels d wheels r just going to takeoff from d ground at high-speeds! 60-80 range is best to drive this car!😊 It still remains a fav of mine!❤️
it really reminded me of my alto lxi 2007 we sold it in 2019.And I can claim that my car was one of the most maintained alto in india:). And when he said you can hit 140 with some courage and really 140 was the maximum speed we tried on lko expy.
Although, it uses the 0.8L 796cc Naturally Aspirated 3 cylinder Petrol mill belting out 42hp and 67Nm. Yet due to its lighter weight, it feels livelier 🔥🔥

We sold it in 2014 and the person still has it running so flawlessly. No wonder why it's the best selling car in India. It used to reach 140 km/h easily.
At 5:20, that is a solid white line on the road. Solid lines indicate that you're not supposed to change lanes. Broken white lines allow changing of lanes. Most of us Indians are not aware of these rules, so we just go wherever we want to.
Never had the experience of alto coz we had maruti 800 till 2014 and then replaced it with ritz. But alto was better than 800 in some ways but 800 was❤️.
Our family owned a alto flash it wadls the rarest model of alto having power window and power steering at that time it was luxury at that time we have a white coloured alto flash it is best car and it has been 12 yrs since its purchase but still in extremely good condition
I own the 2010 one , mine is the top end which gets fog lights as well , it has done almost 2 lakh kms and no issues to the engine even now , its a daily driver for 50kms a day , but as you said it rattles quite a bit now , parts are cheap , returns a mileage of 16kmpl in city with AC and 20kmpl on highways at 90kmph , car looses its stability post 95kmph , steering becomes light as feather which robs away all the confidence , though the rims are 12inchers the tire's wall is big enough to give very good ride quality , engine is very punchy in mid range , and the AC is very powerfull although the heating function of ac isnt effective at all , you hardly feel warm air in winters , i got it for an on road price of 3.1 lakh , this is the best design of the alto i personally feel 😄

Try and get hold of a 1.1 vx not vxi. 16v 4 pot engine direct steering and can go all the way till 165 kmph. And yes its also got a tacho. You will be presently surprised.
bro that time these cars ruled the indian market and these were the features which people looking for a cheap and reliable car appreciated hence orvms were a feature even my dad has one right now it is standing outside
bhai hum xuv300 le rhe alto k10 se..k10 is best i think due to price and 67 Bhp and 90Nm torque ..Ac is good enough ..space is thik thak seat is so comfortable .. Suspension is very soft good for city.. Above 80 kaam khatam he confidence gayab..Pick is On another level..So why people Saying bad about this car ..i know k10 is Bit diff for good
