Thar is turbocharged 2.0 so it's expected from it. But jimny according to its engine capacity is giving too less mileage

@@bigdaddy2dwitiya Naah...Dude the real world economy of Mahindra 2.0 mFalcon is much lower than it's claimed figures. VW's 2.0 TSI doesn't have such a stark difference in claimed and real world numbers and is fairly efficient on the highway with 10+ kmpl fuel economy. It's actually fair because Mahindra doesn't have any prior experience in turbo petrol technology and their mechanicals for petrol engines are unproven since mFalcon line up is relatively new.

@@achintyaaatreya005 Power figures of mStallion are quite high. 200 ps with 380 mm torque. And it's combined with heavy chassis and Torque converter is hungry for fuel. Considering everything above it's obvious that it's mileage gonna be low.

@@achintyaaatreya005 2.0 tsi power outputs are low compared to mStallion 2.0. And VW chassis (sedan) + DSG helps in better fuel economy.

16 on a celerio is actually very less. If driven better, Celerio gives 20 plus mileage.

@@AesterAutomotive the owner decides when to scrap and i forgot to mention i'm from kerala so i don't think thats gonna happen for atleast 15 more years and yeah sooner or later the time would come but now at this moment i've no regrets on my baby , and she will stay with me until my last breath even though i could not drive her in the yet to come future she will be in my garage , it's one of the few cars that really have a soul.

What about spare parts etc ?

Maybe this is giving low mileage cz it is a new car, and for a car it needs almost 5k kms to run to get the perfect and accurate mileage

@@prudhvinath8481 never been in a gypsy before? It's pretty usual, specially when the knobs are directly attached to the gearbox like this case, this is specially common in 4x4 vehicles, and some rear wheel Drive ones

@omCAR vlogs if they do so, 1. they might have trouble meeting cafe norms. Not the mention it's impact on environment that we can immediately feel 2. They will have to redesign a lot of things in the car. It will not necessarily translate to on road performance. 3. The idea of jimny and its lightness takes a hit 4. It's a declining market. No point investing in the engine, drive train and cars architecture for a limited market for a limited period of time. The business case would just not be there
