Good explanation sir Was useful to understand faced this issue after reverse ramp , or during bumper to bumper travel .. let me check to change brake switch
I have the same problem and my car stopped yesterday in the middle of the road yesterday. It's a Dzire AMT... In my case the gear shifts back to normal and will not change the gears .
Hello, I'm currently driving a Suzuki Ertiga 2021, the light came on and the vehicle lost power, i took it to Suzuki and they did a diagnostics and found no errors, there after they topped up the transmission oil, a month later, the light came back on and the car still loses power but there are no oil leaks from inspection, please help, is it also advisable to keep driving the vehicle with light on as its constantly on the road, please help.
Thanks for this video. In my case this light comes whenever we give on high acceleration while driving and then the car can not have speed anymore... Do you have any suggestions??
Seems to be slipping clutch. Clutch may be at the end of life. Normally clutch is able to hold on to flywheel, during high acceleration it is unable to and is slipping resulting in overheating.
My alto k10 just driven 12,000kms .. shifts perfectly and runs good, even clutch is fine. But in very rare cases in D mode when brake is released the car doesnt move forward, unless accelerator is pressed. No warning signs as well. Do you think brake switch is the problem?
It has been around a week so far and haven't faced any issue. So I think it is good. Other thing if you notice the video, when the issue happened, the creep function also did not work. This is identical to when the brake is not released or the door is open. In my opinion, the switch was not working properly and the car was still thinking the brake is not released. So the brake switch must be the culprit. At higher speeds it used to throw the light, because the vehicle is doing decent speed and the car thinks the brake is still applied, the mismatch caused the error.
@@VISHKI hi there thank you very much for posting the video , due to transaxle warning light I have replaced the clutch plates(₹3120) and amt barrings (under warranty) , after that also it was showing warning light , but finally after watching your video I have replaced the break switch and issue have been completely resolved now , thank you very much 😊😊
Wow, glad it helped. Didn't the ASC check with computer connected before changing the clutch? Good that they covered in warranty. In my case, they did not connect during first 3 visits and when they finally connected finally, the error was logged and the fix was easy. Anyway, knowing the problem is solved is a big relief, it was always there in the back of mind.
@@VISHKI ACS connected the vehicle with their computer but circuit low error was showing in history, so they finally cleaned the brake switch with petrol and connected again , as per them the switch was working properly , But Today I purchased a new switch from maruti authorised spare parts store near by my house and replaced it with the old one and finally the error is solved
That is not an issue. The light also comes up when the clutch overheats which is what is happening in your case. My problem was different, not overheating. In your case, it is normal. If this is happening for small inclines or just few mins in traffic, the clutch is at end of life.
Even this happend to me on new Baleno , the light came on for a few minutes as I was driving in heavy traffic for an hour and the roads had inclination( lonavla ghat) ! But it went of as soon the traffic cleared up !! There's no issue after that it has been two months now!!
@@NeerajParabOfficialI also got the blinking light on my new glanza when I was about to clear the first ghat and only for 50 seconds or so. Then it went and again it appeared on the end of 2nd ghat.
Your's seem to be clutch at end of life or clutch getting over heated for some reason. Overheating happens on steep inclines in stop go traffic. How many km has your car covered.
The same transmission warning turned on my brand new tata nexon Xma for few seconds when I was driving high terrain. Obviously car overheated from this and I was scared when burning smell emitted from engine hood. smell resolved when cad cooled off.
