Ya I've noticed no one ever points it out which is weird considering how good of CGI they have like come on the amount of transforming and things happening that would require so much CGI to do and they can get you to believe it's real because it looks so real is insane
The TF 2007 is suchhhhhhh...an amazing and really a one-of-a-kind film on it's time and even today!! Everything from animation, details, graphics, the CGI in general is like, waaaaay ahead of it's time... Truly undying film, a never getting old movie...
@@rezkynadhiralsyuja7960well, do the animators and the modellers ever made a giant mechanical worm that has hundreds of thousands of parts which almost make their computer explode causing it to make a new custom computer? 🤨
It’s crazy that even though it’s 2024, CGI kinda peaked in like 2005-2010 with stuff like Pirates of the Caribbean and transformers. Back when people put care into it instead of using it as the only visual tool, AND didn’t rush movies out at the rate that studios do now
@@FicuxjengvjYet they have one of the strongest economies around the globe 🤔 it's almost like paying people more than what they're worth... isn't actually worth it. 🤡
@Ficuxjengvj Not trying to disagree with your point about Japan's working conditions, but what does that make of Hollywood? 😅 Good pay and good working condition? If that's the case, what happened to the CGI?
For multi million dollar movies you would think marvel and DC would have better cgi (dc has improved alot though) But no movie franchise will beat transformers in the cgi department
Well the reason you think that is because CGI looks better when its not a human being CGI'd our brains have a part that recognizes people and CGI sends off uncanny valley into our brains when its a human but when its something our brains are less good at determining it makes it seem a lot better. like davy jones from pirates of the carribean.
@@abdullagaming1612 Computer Generated Imagery. Simply, the visual effects are generated through advanced computer software for making scenes for a film.
@@Gundam-Prime Industrial L&M will make the same quality as the first few movies even if the transformers appear for 3 hours straight, that is no excuse, the fact is anyone in their right mind knows that the cgi in rise of beasts was wild.
Michal bay said that one transformers scene in revenge of the fall with devastator sucking up everything could only be done on ONE computer because all of the others kept crashing when trying to process the sheer amount of CGI in that scene
@@lorcan8484 The Lego Movie CGI had way more hard work put into their CGI, they actually stick to the real bones that the lego characters have instead of rubber hose style, like the DC lego movies. They even have literally almost *everything*, from the landscapes to the bullets to the entire explosions, made out of lego. Ain't no practical effects in the Lego movie other than the real life scenes, something that no other movie could accomplish.
@@McplayTzy Lego Movie CGI had way more hard work put into it. It's not just slapping a few pieces of metal together and turning them into two things, it's getting every single lego block right and accurate to real life. Almost every single scene in the Lego Movie is recreatable in a real life set
Really? Bayverse literally has the best storyline Bay didn't copy anything from comics and instead made them himself. But Knight and Caple simply copied it from comics. Bay, had better action which made us clojg to our seats. Bay's prime was a leader we all hope to have. Bay's characters are something we relate to Tell me the one character you love and think yourself of being in Bayverse
@@paperprime7481 First movie was great, second and third movie were okay but sort've hit or miss. Fourth and Fifth movie were awful. Bay's Prime became a sociopath after some of the events of the second movie and just started killing constantly and had this weird fetish for faces? Let's not even get started on the propoganda and the Romeo and Juliet shit. Actors were treated like shit as well, which is why Megan Fox wasn't around for the Third movie. The villians in the first 3 films were decent I will say, (besides Megatron after the First Film since he just kinda degraded as a threat) Lockdown was pretty cool I suppose and Quintessa was just, there I guess. Bay's CGI can't be outmatched however there's so many damn flaws with his movies. Which comics are you referring to? Because there's a decent amount. The jokes were EXTREMELY hit or miss during the first couple of movies and degraded since. Movies don't need to have tons of high quality thrilling action 24/7 to be a good movie either, look at Bumblebee for example. Also Bay obviously did copy some things from the comics and other Transformers media if Sentinel, Unicron, the Knights of Cybertron, and more were there. The characters could hardly be called "Relatable". While Bay brought amazing things to the table, the severe amount of issues and flaws just outweighed it tenfold.
@@SKF10bro shut the fuck up with that whole bay verse prime is is a psycho bro hes been through so much and lost so many auto bots and you sit here and act like you also wouldn’t go ape shit if your family and closest friends were killed? Nah you can’t say shit he’s more human then any other prime and has way more emotion then any other
@@SKF10 i myself think fourth and fifth movie were okay. In those movies i could find Realism and were certainly relatable. Bro you haven't Seen wars as you say it. War twists people from inside Out. And prime being the leader of em has suffered and scarred himself from. The. Wars. The wars are so brutal that if you dont kill, you are killed. All of prime's kills are justified . You are saying that. Bay copied his stories from comics. But tell me how was unicron showed in comics and in movies. How Bullshit bumblebee was in comics How glorified and humble was Optimus in Comics Bay showed Us the true reality of being in the middle of war and showed how badly casualties affect someone. What sentinel Did was and can't be justified. What would you ve done if someone Did tha same?
fun fact: making devastator was insanely hard cause of its different vehicles combining cause of this several computers were destroyed but im happy they maked it so detailed Edit: HOLY SHIT THANKS FOR THE LIKES
Most of the marvel/DC stuff shown in the video is from the shows/TV series' and doesn't reflect the quality put into the films. They then proceed to show full scale feature length film quality footage, since it's a multi-million dollar film, it looks better. Who would've guessed.
the difference between the two genres of movies are very significant. all of the movies featured in the movie probably had about the same budget. marvel/dc movies were centered around actors and props, whereas the transformers series focused on better cgi and less acting
The Last Knight might have sucked in writing, but the CGI and the scenes were still beautiful, no matter how bad the writing was. We also had some badass Optimus Prime scenes. Also, the movie had pretty good voice acting like usual.
@@Wyaxfr man i really love g1 design. Kinda sucks that the bay movies didnt use them. And the knightverse is... im not a fan of the rise of the beast. Idk why, its just hollow. Bumblebee is amazing tho
Why? Her cgi was very well done and it took the CGI team 7 months to finish. Both CGIs are great, but the highway scene has more mistakes, as some of the lighting was faulty.
I’ve noticed a trend of criticism directed at the CGI used in Marvel and DC films, and I’d like to offer a different perspective. The visual effects teams behind these movies are among the most talented and hardworking professionals in the industry. They push the boundaries of technology and art to create the spectacular scenes that bring our favorite superheroes to life. The process of creating CGI for such high-caliber films is incredibly complex and time-consuming. It involves a blend of artistic vision and technical expertise, and the results are often groundbreaking. While it’s true that no CGI is perfect and there’s always room for improvement, the level of detail and commitment to quality in Marvel and DC movies is undeniable. Let’s remember that these movies are meant to transport us to other worlds, to inspire wonder and excitement. The CGI is a tool to tell a story, and in that regard, it succeeds phenomenally. So, instead of focusing on the occasional imperfections, let’s celebrate the creativity and innovation that these visual effects teams bring to the big screen. Thank you for considering this perspective and for your continued support of the Marvel and DC universes.
A questão é que CGI que envolve traços humanos como rostos e etc, são 1000x mais complicado do que fazer um CGI de algo difícil de reconhecer que seja compitação gráfica igual TRANSFORMES.
marvel and dc give their animators like a week to get one scene done, which is even worse considering that the animators usually have to work for multiple shows/movies
As much as I don't like the stories in most of Bay's Transformers movies, I'll gladly admit that they have some of the best CGI I've seen. The first one came out in 2007, and it's still a movie I'll go back to and watch.
Most of Iron Man’s CGI utilize techniques created by the VFX team that worked on transformers 2007, a small example is a How they made the transformers, damaged and slightly dirty, in order to make it feel more grounded and realistic.
Interstellar: "and yet im not recognized..... " Impressive facts: even though interstellar was made public in 2014 yhey predicted what a black hole looked like before the first blackhole picture in 2019♥︎
Nah cuz transformers CGI in 2007 was way ahead of its time, and also devastator in TF2 blew up one of the computer in the studio due to having 80,000 render models😅
The hell you mean. It was pretty basic, And nothing to write home about, granted, that could just be because of the budget, but that still doesn’t change the fact that it was average CGI. Even transformers in 2007 had better CGI.
@@ECHOEDITZZ just because it earned an Oscar doesn’t mean that it is better than most modern day CGI. I don’t even think it was deserved it, a lot of the shots looked weird, and to be quite frank, not good
