Hopefully they can do wonders for the ant man character in other movies. The iron man trilogy had strong start but fizzled out near the end yet Tony still got a ton of development in other movies after his own.

1st time I saw reptil was avengers academy, I really enjoyed avengers academy but none of them went on to much, and *spoilers* your ride along character the one your supposed to sympathise with loses her powers at the end and a few of them end up in avengers arena (Arcades murder island) you can guess how that goes. It made me chuckle coz at the end of Academy, the writer says I am passing my kids of to someone else now and I how he looks after them, 2 pages into Arena I was like " Oh no!"

every time I hear them talk about budgets it really makes me understand that they don't know what they're talking about. you can't reasonably make a modern superhero movie for less than like 120M. enough already

Dune Part 2 costs 190 million dollars and looks better than almost all MCU movies. Disney is either rushing and spending too much or fucking laundring the money

Disney pays the animators pennys on a dime, want the work done FAST, and the people don´t even know if their work even is used in the final cut. The CGI looks allmost like placeholders that snuck in the full movie.

Chapek didn't ruin anything. These projects take years to produce and Disney plus was launched under Iger with all of these shows planned. Phases 4 and 5 were conceptualized in 2018/2019 while Iger was still there. He was in the CEO position for 18 months but Iger was still making decisions and conducting CEO duties for most of those 18 months.

Honestly they should only focus on F4, X-Men, and Spider-Man characters

Sad to see Eternals 2 is cancelled. I actually loved it. When I saw the Guardians of The Galaxy, I believe the guy that showed up at the end of the movie is also in the game and thought he seemed interesting. I thought the lead woman was the best character, at least bring her back.

- Regarding eternals, commercially I understand that it is not good to make a sequel and narratively they only need to use the characters that stayed on earth and talk about the celestial giant, the other eternals can disappear because reasons, it sounds bad but it is a simple solution. But I admit that I would be interested in seeing an eternals 2. - Now, about Ant Man, you are right that if you lower the budget you can make another movie, but if we look at the past, those movies were not a huge success either, and today it is even more difficult to get the general audience to go to the theater for any movie. - Captain Marvel is a more complicated issue, that character is very divisive, we can blame Marvel or the toxic fans, but for now it is not advisable to bet on it. That said, all the characters in these movies can return but it is not a good bet to give them individual movies.

Iron Man was done cheap as chips comparatively. Doctor Strange and Black Panther were done from a position of strength, allowing Marvel to mix it up. Now they're dropping 200/250m on films that liked by neither critics or fans.

Trouble with Eternals is that it was set up to be the MCU equivalent of Fantastic Four and Xmen as they didn’t have the rights at the time. Halfway through filming Disney bought Fox essentially making Eternals redundant in the grand scheme of the MCU. Plus also it had too many new characters to get to know, too many plot holes and inconsistencies with the wider universe and the plot was boring mostly just go to A to B to C etc.

Reptil was in the super hero squad tv show. He was a bomb character. I loved him as a kid.

In fairness, I'm shocked Reptyle isn't used more. With how much money Jurrasic Park is getting milked for, a guy who can turn into various Dinosaurs during action scenes seems like a no-brainer. Like, could be a Young Avengers' 'Beast Boy' role

Ant-Man 4? I didn't even know they planned on making a fourth! I didn't hate Quantumania, but it was definitely not what the third Ant-Man movie should have been with half the cast of the first two just not even being involved with the story, nor did the trailers pitch us on the movie we got. I can only imagine that Ant-Man 4 was considered because of the backlash, hoping to make a true Ant-Man 3. Captain Marvel 3 being canceled is not surprising. I enjoyed The Marvels, it's a fun movie, but people not only didn't see it, those who did were mixed or just flat out hated it. It probably would have worked better as a show since half the people in that movie are from the Dinsey+ shows, or rather, we just jumped the gun and didn't have a true Captain Marvel 2 showing things that took place between the first movie and Endgame, or at least Carol Danvers' time on Earth so that we actually got to see the world get to know her and why someone like Kamala Khan would be her biggest fan. I don't know, there's problems, but I'm also not upset at no more Captain Marvel movies, sounds more like a potential A-Force thing might be happening given just how many female heroes there are in the MCU, you just have to get them all together in a logical manner unlike the Endgame battle. Eternals 2 being canceled is also not surprising, but I also enjoyed that first movie. I guess the biggest critique I could give the movie though is that while I did enjoy it, I also questioned why we needed this at the end. The Eternals returning in some kind of cosmic movie though, and if they can ever get some sort of Midnight Suns setup through Blade if that movie ever happens, seemed like the way to go than a straight up sequel to Eternals. They had their movie, we're just going to have them show up in other things now, I kind of got the sense that was always the plan.

When they said it I legit thought they were talking about the arch’s they didn’t give him when they said they would. they said they were gunna do that for him after civil war and then he never got a real arch in any movies Thor was closest and it didn’t even go anywhere or anything. Now they are saying the same exact quote 7 years later and it’ll likely be the same not a single real story for hulk no more than 15 min screen time

I can understand why Disney would want to cancel Ant Man 4 especially if the rumors are true that Ant Man will join Spider-Man and Daredevil in MCU Spider-Man 4. At this point, there's not that much of a story left to tell with Ant Man's character now that Cassie's her own hero. I'm sad that Captain Marvel 3 is apparently canceled too since that would've been the perfect time to do Annihilation Conquest as a film with the new Guardians, Silver Surfer and Nova. But I really hope the Eternals 2 is cancelled. I think Marvel should omit those characters all together and never bring any of them back. If the Tiamut plot thread is going to be addressed in Brave New World & Thunderbolts, there's no reason to ever bring the Eternals back.

Externals was slow, boring, and retconned ALL OF HUMAN HISTORY/ALL INVENTIONS from the WHEEL to NUKES. I kinda hate that. I’m glad I pirates that movie.

Cool Video I am interested that the movies were canceled. I would be intrigued to see where Captain Marvel 3 would have gone; do you think they could have gone the Black Widow Movie route and talk about her final battle with the Supreme Intelligence.

Ater the success of Dune and Dune Part 2, maybe audiences are ready for Eternals 2?. I really loved Eternals, one of the major problems I had with the film was lack of development of the Deviant voiced by Bill Skargard.

I really want to see what an Eternals 2 movie would look like. They set up a lot of things that I am curious about like Starfox and his history with Thanos as well as what judgement looks like with the celestials. I liked Eternals a lot. I personally believe that it is one of, if not, the best shot marvel films ever. I am saying that in terms of all the backgrounds and even with the scope of Tiamut emerging from Earth after Sersi stopped him. I tend to look at that shot, specifically, a lot. I loved that final fight too. Makkari beating down Ikaris just gets me hyped up, including the Thena fight scenes. I just enjoyed the movie as a whole.

ESG ruined so many of their projects, they’re trying so hard to cut it out but most of these projects are greenlighted because of inclusion standards
