So did you keept it ? Did you bought any packs for it ? I'm still in love with the game and bought almost every Hero, Villain and the big Expension. I play this only solo and having a blast with it. FFG really nailed each hero and they still play completely different from each other.
This might be inappropriate in a review but I want to choose between this and Arkham Horror LCG. I understand how both play but I would like to have your opinion since I respect it a lot more than any other board/card game reviewer. Thanks!
Really breaks down to theme. What do you enjoy. Arkham has an incredible job bringing you into the game. I think marvel is very easy to get going into.

I actually ultimately decided to sell my copy despite giving it a really good review at board game geek. Originally, I was planning to go all in, but spending 25-30 dollars per pack is far too pricey especially when you add sleeves on top of it and I felt that the game wasn't giving me enough highs due to the RNG nature of the game with the encounter deck. I found the heroes to be incredibly thematic and I do like it. But I do get a similar experience with Death May Die (despite being completely different games) that DMD gave me more of those high moments IMO so I ultimately decided to part with it even though I think it's a really good game. Also, the fact that the turns can be LONG especially for someone who wants to calculate all their moves I would never play this game at 4 player and 3 was already pushing it. So yeah, in the end I actually mostly agreed with SHUT UP AND SIT DOWN's verdict of the game but I also don't think the ARKHAM LCG was any better after playing a friends copy and going through 2 scenarios.
Ah interesting perspective. I'm currently on the market for one game right now and I was debating between this and Chtulhu DMD. You're right in the sense that the two are very different, but would you say that the value and overall moments of DMD are better than Marvel Champions? Deciding between these two :)
@@myst6617 I personally think DMD has better moments :) Although you don't get to engine build as much compare to MC, the CO OP aspect is much better in DMD as you'll find yourself discussing your situations. HOWEVER, I would not recommend DMD unless you have the kickstarter stuff....
