Colossus and Taunt is just a great combo!

Love Colossus :) (when it works :p ) Also, defeating the villain to a stage where he has Retaliate, does trigger a retaliate against the attacker up until now. (would love to see a new clarification on that though...^^)

I'd guess martial prowess and sense of justice and the defense resource card should get reprints.

Major plays: (both times 7-8 piercing, overkill) at 1:22 & 1:39 with Taunt, you cannot have someone else (eg: Polaris, Marrow) defend. I think Bait & Switch would be better for Colossus. He sucks more than Parker at thwarting! Though everybody usually fixes both with Allies. Is Taunt actually worth it even with *Tough*. -2ER to play, draw 4 (assuming you have *Iron Will*), so you gain 2 by losing a *Tough* AND have a boost card potentially with a boost effect and traversing more through both decks looking for the deck-out penalties. As far as Thanos/Retaliate... 1st: Game reserve terms don't have to be mutually exclusive. 2nd: If it is the "SAME" character NAMED Villain, then yes the same Villain "character" survived...you only defeated "a STAGE" of that (same) Villain. More support for that under RR1.5: "Villain Defeat". EG: They keep their' stuff because it is the same dude! Is it a different "card"? Yes (but not the query). Is it the same "character"? Yes! (Bingo!) If you were to defeat a Marauder or Mansion Attack Villain, then the new comer is a different character & attachments fall off (as per RR1.5: "Villain Defeat" rules) = no matter what, you get no retaliate. If you cannot prove/site otherwise and/or are uncertain, then you suffer the *Grim rule* anyway which is the worst option for you...retaliate = yes. 🤓

any reason you didn't immediately remove his goggles? you took I think 3 schemes in the second game, so that's 3 extra threat
