Marvel Champions, Expert Villain Power Tier List [JAN 2023] 

I have Loki above Mojo and Ronan and maybe magneto. I don’t enjoy Loki scenario and I think the biggest flaw was the infinity gauntlet being require (as far as fun for me). The fact he has a form that can scheme for 4 base and has stalwart with 1 main scheme has been very frustrating for me; especially when Enchantress and seduced locks you down and you have to go to AE. I totally agree Ronan isn’t as bad as people remember especially outside of campaign. Nebula and The Hood are very tricky bc they can be relatively easy to impossible hard. I end up just wanting to play rush strategy against then bc of that. Great list! I came over from get up and game’s recommendation.

Great list! I only play on standard but this is basically how I’d rank the villains in standard too. Always thought Venom Goblin was the toughest in the game AND I agree that Loki is tougher than people give him credit for.

Nice list. Personally think you are letting your familiarity Ronan cloud your judgement. I lost to him so many times before beating him. I have never lost to Loki or Magneto or Mojo for that matter. Venom Goblin is obviously tough, but I feel non-campaign Venom Goblin is still easier than non-campaign Ronan. However, 25 reputation Expert Campaign Venom Goblin is the hardest scenario in the game, without swapping out modulars or anything.

I haven’t played through everyone on expert, but I have beaten every villain in one way or another. I’d say Ronan is the most unfair, Venom Goblin is the hardest, Loki is the most frustrating, and Magneto is the most fun of the extra hard villains to play against.

I appreciated the tier list and would love to see more. You made a comment about growth, so I'll mention this - I'd seen a video of yours before (the reaction re: Expert II and Heroic I) but it had a not insignificant amount of random reactionary asides. That made me decide to hard pass on other content. Another content creator in the space linked to this video so I gave it a second chance and there wasn't any weird reactionary social commentary here so I'll give a shot to more of your videos and hopefully see a different side.
