I'm also a big fan of regroup in leadership, to be able to retrigger when played effects on allies, and I like bringing back more than one ally from that one card.
My favorite tactic is Air Supremacy! Having a full board of Aerial allies and then pinging minions and the villain is so fun. Really feels like you’re the commander on the ground.
I actually posted my deck on the CDB. Search for Flight Control Commander posted by Southy. Cloud 9 really makes the deck work because she can help shore up threat with your other aerial allies while you’re dealing damage with Air Supremacy.
My fave Tactic card is definitely To Me My XMen! It is thematic, i always shout TO ME MY XMEN! as i play it, searching for a random Xmen to join the fight. It is recur by Tactical Brilliance, and it allows wide board with many allies, especially if combo with Uncanny Xmen and Utopia. All around perfect Tactic card for Cyclops, such a great Xmen leader!
I know this doesn't really have much to do with this video, but I was curious about what other people thought about it. After Cyclops came out it made me think about what it would be like to deck build a Black Widow deck where you could include any preparation card regardless of attribute. Thoughts?
I feel Regroup is the strongest. But with Mutant Education to cycle tactile brilliance I’m wanted to test a “to me my X-men” and “go down swinging” build. That being said I’m one of those weirdos that doesn’t like ally heavy decks. I understand it’s on theme here, but I like feeling my hero took down the enemy, with their unique attack cards. With that in mind I haven’t played Cyclops much, even though he is very strong.
It was a great primer, but you didn't mention that no matter how good the hero kit may be, that Cyclops is still a dork. And every time you pull up the ratings, I'm still bitter that you rated Ms. Marvel so low. 🙂 Thanks for doing these.
