Marvel Legends Cabal box set completes another team 

I have the Super Skrull wave Doom, and he’s really cool. I got him in 2022 at a convention. He and Cable were at one vendor for $15 each. Both were worth about $60 or so at that time. I was so excited when I found them there.

Thanks for your effort on these reveals Jeffrey. The three look like they will fit nicely in any rogues gallery collection. The pace of new pre-orders is really ramping up with these new Marvel Legends. I suppose once the ComicCon season is upon us there is hope for some more new ones.

Always nice to come here for a positive overview of a new release. Iron patriot is a must for me. I have the Mezco Dr. Doom (highly recommend, it blew my socks off), but a doombot is fine. The taskmaster does look good. I will wait for them to go on sale, if they don't I will get the iron patriot second hand.

Love the look of this set! Need that updated Iron Patriot, who is one of my favorite villains. And the upgraded Taskmaster look outstanding! The cape and Doombot head add a lot to Doom.

Yes, Hasbro is one step closer to getting us to that promised land of wired capes! Thanks for bringing it up Jeff, I think we all need to let Hasbro know every chance we get, how badly we want them to make it happen. I don't think we're in the minority here either; stiff plastic capes can sometimes ruin an otherwise great figure. With McFarlane incorporating them into his figures at the same price point, I think there's no reason why Hasbro should be omitting wired capes at this point. They're doing a tremendous job with the headsculpts, face paint and articulation. Wired capes would likely earn them a lot of goodwill (and Dollar$) from us fans. PS: I see you with the nice Hot Toys Star Wars collection! One day, I hope to have something like that for myself.

It's not a bad set, I like that they're slowly trying to incorporate cloth goods on their figures. I'm not looking to complete Dark Avengers or The Cabal, so this is an easy pass for me, but I'm happy for those that have been waiting for this. I agree with you Jeff, it's nice to see Hasbro listening to the community and completing some teams!

That lady Loki came in the Toy's R Us box set that was a awesome figure that Dr Doom cloth cape hard core when their going too finish the reavers like reese the black dude and the rest of the serpent society red/blue racers ,Eric the red ,brimstone love,blood hawk,and a few more why all the reissues

The cloth cape on Doom is going to compel me to buy it.

I’m going to have to pick this up. I like my 2018 Taskmaster, but this new one looks just that little something extra. Doom is a good upgrade and you’re correct in that I can use my old one as a Doom Bot.

Excited for these! Hopefully can actually pre-order this set. Still bitter about the Target Warbird thing, and probably won't get over it until Target gets them in and I can get one. lol. I like the new Doctor Doom figure--head sculpt is great, and the cape is a great addition, but Doctor Doom uses a Broom handled Mauser- the same gun the Rocketeer carries-- not a Luger. Look it up in the Official Handbooks of the Marvel Universe, Hasbro! I like the Doombot head! That's a nice touch from the Legends team! This truly feels like an upgrade to the 80th figure, which still is amazing! I like that Taskmaster, overall, but the head sculpt isn't my favorite, if I'm honest. The skull mask looks kind of wide & wonky to me. I'm a guy who's drawn many, many skulls--realistically accurate and Ghost Rider exaggerated--and I know they could have done better here. It's not the worst by any means, but it doesn't grab me the way it might grab some fans. The original Taskmaster face mask wasn't a skull anyway. It was skull-like, but it didn't have a skull nose, for instance. I wish they would have given us an alternate head that looked like his original appearance in THE AVENGERS. I think that's a missed opportunity from Legends. I hope the new head grows on me a bit, or looks better in-hand, but I guess I'll have to wait and see. The head sculpt does look intimidating though, and I know fans will be pleased with this offering--I'm just super-picky sometimes! lol. Regardless, I'm excited for this one, all the same. It's absolutely an upgrade from the last one!

personally I don't even care about the cabal, but this 3 pack is great. I love the doom I have from years ago but the cloth capes are an amazing upgrade for me. I also love Ironman characters and could use a task master. I don't know if I've ever been happy to buy a pack like this before but this is very welcome. still mad about the daredevil 3 pack

I was looking for a comic version Taskmaster! I just bought the Mezco Doom last month, but this Legend version looks pretty cool too! I’m on the fence if one character that I really want will be worth the price

I need all these, so this is an easy yes from me. Taskmaster and Doom look top notch...Iron Patriot looks quite plasticky though. I really wish they had done him in metallics. So, on these looks alone, Taskmaster and Doom A grade, Iron Patriot C grade.

If we get the Rachel Summers version of Phoenix this year then the Marvel Legends line is the best of the year in their internal brand competition. I mean it already won when they released the Ghost Rider, but finally having a real scale Iron Patriot to put on my Dark Avengers shelf is heaping on the goodness.

Looks solid set indeed, Taskmaster is Plus for me we lol the set seem like a good buy for sure. I just don’t understand why armor suits are at times smaller than they should be. With the retro wave Ironman I would expect heavier look. It looks like similar to extremis suit, with some different parts. I have the old school version still and had a custom head for it. Finally hasbro got with the times… solid thoughts on this for sure… happy hunting

I hardly buy comic figures because I collect mcu figs but when it comes to the dark avengers this is on my must haves to get I really want to complete these 2009 2010s teams! 🙌😁

Man, I have mixed emotions. I was on the fence about this set. I really want the Taskmaster figure, but I wasn't excited about having to buy two other figures, including yet another Doom to get him. After watching your video, though, the Doombot helmet helps. I can take or leave the Osborn Iron Patriot, but depending on the price, this is all in all a pretty nice set.

What collectors really wanted was the Iron Patriot Norman Osborne single packed. They know we are not asking for it to be trapped behind a multipack pay wall. Hasbro can offer updates on Taskmaster and Dr. Doom in single packs. If they are scared those figures will peg warm and go to clearance, then why produce them at all?

I don t know the character, no waste I will not miss much characters after 24 I think electro, green goblin, mysterio, og kingpin... maybe a spidey? just to use ropes in dios... my A - team is punisher, cap am, iron man, and...fury sr... he was missing. coming soon 3 pack so now you know... good show bro

Glad I sold my Selects Taskmaster! I want this, but ANOTHER Doctor Doom??? I thinkit'ss a repaint of the fan channel F4 Dr Doom w/ soft goods cape. The only postive about this re-release is the Doom-Bot head, IMO. Osborne & Taskmaster could have been released in a 3rd villians wave without the Doom tax.

Gonna have to pass. Hasbro needs to get away from the 2 packs and 3 packs. Iron Patriot is a want, but I don't want a slightly better Taskmaster and Dr. Doom to get it. Also is it just me or does it look like they really want to get away from doing BAF wave? Edit. To clarify not all multipacks are bad: Shield 3 pack, AZ&BZ, troop builders, but to me most of these multipacks are in bad faith. Iron Patriot, Sabertooth, Lilandra, Mandarin Psylocke, all these and many others could have been singles in a BAF wave.

Iron patriot look really plastic don’t need another Dr. doom especially after getting the Mezco Doom ,the doom bot head is nice, Taskmaster is nice but they missed a real opportunity to redo Hood on a nice suited body with a Decent head sculpt and a demon head and hands

It’s just my personal preference, but I really prefer soft good capes without wiring. And I’m very happy for a new Norman Osborn head sculpt that doesn’t look like he has eyeliner and lipstick on.

I’m tired of figures being locked behind 2,3,4,&5 packs. They are no cheaper in a multi pack than buying individually. No BAF parts. Limited accessories. I already bought 2 of the 3 figures in this set. I don’t want to buy them again. I just need the iron patriot, but I’m not going to pay $75 for it. Locking figures behind a multi pack or store exclusive needs to stop already. I guarantee they are laughing at collectors right now.

Not gonna lie, if we start to see a lot of tacky looking soft goods in ML I will be buying way less figures. Iron Patriot looks really really cheap looking, which is sad given how well they just executed all those Iron Man retro figures.

$99.99 for this? Rhode Island shouldn't have legalized that stuff. Cause they probably using it at Hasbro HQ.
