Which Bucky Cap Figure Needs an Upgrade Next? 

The classic Cyclops is a must.

I customized my own classic Cyclops using the Grim Reaper body mold with other parts.

I would go with Archangel and the Havoks.

Great show Jeffrey - thanks for your efforts they are appreciated - and don't you dare get rid of THAT Zombie shirt. It's a mainstay. An icon. A trademark. It's your show's mascot. I discovered this episode to be rather auspicious in the sense as if you were reading my mind. Personally, I have been going through an "update the out-dated" phase with my collection. Your list of much needed upgrades was hitting me were I live. You were displaying my list of action figures I want to update! Always impossible to remain on the shelf without a display stand, Bucky-Cap v1.0 became one of the least-wanted buck from collectors. Your list of characters you want for an update was exactly mine. If I might add my personal wish is Moon Knight.

I mean yes there are some characters that need a redo but I rather them keep pumping new characters.

I'd like to see some Bucky Cap upgrades. Less because I want an upgrade and more because I don't have the original 1. Cyclops the classic blue and yellow 2. Goliath 3. Arch Angel (Black and Silver X-force version) 4. Machine Man 5. Dirk Anger

Classic Cyclops, Nova, Black Bolt, Dr Spectrum, Night Thrasher, Machine Man, Eel and Classic Nighthawk are my most wanted Do overs. The last acceptable figure was Human Fly for me. I was completely over this buck with The Orb and Dr Spectrum. I vowed to never spend my money on another figure using this buck.

Loved this video. Yeah, a lot of these figures need an upgrade. I know we're getting a new Archangel now that we got the Deluxe Angel Mold. Would also see Classic Cyclops, Taskmaster, Black Bolt and Batroc get upgraded on Vulcan.

That classic Cyclops is number one on my list. I'm really a 1970s through early 90s A list character collector, so that Cyclops is literally the last Bucky Cap left on my shelf. I'm sure he's coming soon.

0:43 Bucky Cap mold debuted in February 2012. And Hasbro acquired the license for Marvel Legends from Toy Biz in 2006, due to Toy Biz going bankrupt and Hasbro released Marvel figures in late 2006.

I agree about Cyclops and Archangel. I would also suggest classic Namor (not the 90s long haired one we just got or the movie one, but the classic speedo one), Iceman and Forge. By the way, that original Jim Lee Cyclops, was from the Warlock wave. Warlock was the phallanx member of the New Mutants.

On point with this revision from Bucky Cap mold. Black bolt needs an update for sure they can not get his size right.such an iconic character. Summers brothers do they an upgrade soon. That classic costume news a refresher soon. And I know I say it every time but Havok needs it. Classic and modern costume. Vulcan is the 2024 mold they should be doing often for these characters that you mentioned. My 5 are Havok, Cyclops, Black bolt, machine man ( taller version) Batroc ( like you pointed out so under scale to Cap) an Throw in Iceman…. Great discussion

In my opinion Havok needs a update on the vulcan body X-factor look also using legs of Morph/cyclops vhs which can be an Xmen 97 wave maybe or Modern Starjammer look to match the summer family along Cyclops, Corsair and Vulcan.

Definitely agree with Cyclops and Archangel. I have a soft spot for obscure characters like Machine Man, so I would like to see a deluxe of him with various interchangeable parts. Goliath and Modern Giant-Man might round out my top 5. But yeah, re-do 'em all!

Figures on the Bucky Cap body I want to see updated: 1) Classic Cockrum/Byrne Cyclops 2) Every other Cyclops released on a Bucky Cap mold, X-Factor, Krakoa, Nation X, Bendis era, AoA, 90's Jacket version.... 3) Archangel

Funny that you put out this video today, because I was just thinking--after posing some of my favorite Marvel Legends ladies with the new She-Hulk--about what female figures need to be redone on the superior articulated female buck. (Spoiler: it's ALL of them, but especially Jessica Drew Spider-Womam.) Of the figures on your list, I agree Black Bolt and Cyclops are the most in need of an upgrade. On two occasions I had Black Bolt in my hand, ready to purchase, and I just said... "I don't like this" and put it back. Same thing happened with Medusa, in fact. And yeah, I made my own custom Cockrum/Byrne Cyclops, but I'd like an official version.

A Batroc styled after the first Gwenpool run would be an insta buy for me. On Citizen V, we definitely need them to drop the rest of the thunderbolts as well as redos for V and Songbird. It's not a big team and they could crack them out within a couple of waves or two packs Blue Marvel got done dirty with Buckycap, he definitely needed a redo before he even dropped cuz of the unfortunate combo of poor base body and the lack of paint(greyed temples). That team is only 5 characters yet it's in a real sorry state with 2/5 being super old female figures(with Monica being super expensive on the aftermarket), 1 only having an MCU release, and the aforementioned Blue Marvel. Only well done character in that team being the recent Black Panthers.

I feel like most of the worst offenders for Bucky Cap have or/ will be upgraded, so for me, it's any character on the Pizza Spidey and a few on Sunfire bucks, which is a mostly okay bodies, but a few characters I want to be given another chance. All of those could take a backseat if it meant we got sturdy leg upgrades to 90% of all the female characters.

Classic and modern Falcon is not on Bucky Cap mold, but way too small. Would be great on the Vulcan mold.

Jeffrey, ...the figure that needs the upgrade the most (IMHO) is the Golden Age Bucky.!! What a terrible, scrawny figure he was.!! We need a really better Bucky...!! I agree with Batroc... Black Bolt ... and any other Kirby characters...

Also, can Black Bolt's costume be black the next time around. I know with some characters, it's hard to tell if they are rendered blue or black in the comics, but it's literally in Black Bolt's name. He should be black and silver.

Cyclops nickname is Slim. He’s supposed to be tall & lean. Black Bolt is the guy who needs a bigger buck, he’s too lean / small.

I'm going to say...Sunfire, although isn't Sunfire on the "Sunfire" mold? This makes me think that you could do a show educating us on the different body molds out there-- Hyperion, Buckycap, Pizza Spidey, Sunfire? I know there's more. I'll add Constrictor and Quicksilver for redos -they could do the green one on the Vulcan but maybe he would be too bulky?

What Black Panther figure is that on the right with the blueish shading? I've never seen that one but wouldn't mind adding it to my BP shelf.... I hope they redo archangel, I don't have him and need one, seems like I heard a rumor they are redoing him.

For me personally, I think not every Bucky Cap figure should be upgraded especially if the character is not that essential or popular. I think someone like spymaster using the Bucky Cap is fine for what it is but I do agree that heavy hitters such as Taskmaster and especially Cyclops need to use the Vulcan body or other upgraded body types and I just hope to God that Hasbro retires the Bucky Cap for good going forward.

How about BUCKY? Just the sidekick to Golden age Cap. How and why is Hasbro jumping pass the egg and straight to the chicken or why not even put out a comic book version of The winter soilder?

I almost bought that Taskmaster on ebay until I realized it was in the Bucky Cap mold lol- def looking forward to that upgrade in a Vulcan mold

I’d argue Archangel and maybe X-Factor Multiple Man need upgrades the most. I just got the animated Green Goblin, which is on the Bucky cap, and his arms are so gummy. If that figure was on the Vulcan, it would be awesome.
