Ok, so I have had mine for a week now, and he goes everywhere with me, I did do some easy customization that could help, you don't need to take the arms off jus the rubber coat and put the cloth over the arms, I then put wires in the coat and now i have full use of his ab crunch and lean back, also i used cheap black gloss acrylic paint for the knees and the blue hinges behind the knee pad, used khaki paint to create more hands and cleaned up his mask, omg I just can't stop posing him, so happy for you to have one and looking forward to the rest of ur reviews
@@trence5 Sweet! I got that 3 pack. I still can't get Rogue, she's rare and sold at scalper prices where I'm at. I also still need Archangel. I'm hoping the "Best of X-Men" wave they announced has Rogue in it.
I just got mine yesterday and I love it. I have the loose head problem to, but it's not so bad I cant work with it. I do want to get him a cloth trench just for posing. I say a customizer remove the top have of the torso and replace it with the top half of bullseye torso for the butterfly joints. Love your videos man and looking forward to beast review tomorrow my dude! 👊
I lucked up and found one Friday afternoon he's got a couple of paint mishaps but not enough to complain about. The box was in great shape and he has all his extra pieces.
I already have the Marvel Select one from a few years back which I still think looks good. He's just a little taller than most of my legends. Only reason I'm not getting this figure.
I think the reason why they used the punisher arms instead of the star lord arms might be body purpose wise and that it has a more baggy look to it. Also you missed the boot/ calf swivle, other than that great review as always
I'm with you 100% on the double jointed elbow Shartimus. I can't stand that. I have been wanting a new Gambit for what feels like forever. Aside from that this figure is perfect. I might try to swap the Spider-Man Noir arms with these, and then repaint the arms to match the jacket just so he can have the double joints. I've heard a lot of people say they're actually happy with the single joints on Gambit because they thought the double joints on the jacketed arms didn't look good, but I think they're crazy. Double joints trump single joints for me, always.
Just got mine today. Lucked out, and got it, Jubilee, and Forge all in one go at a Walmart I had decided to head a half hour in the opposite way from home after work to test my luck. For some reason my local one only seems to ever only get every other, or so wave. I think they went from Ant-Man & Wasp to End Game... I had pre-ordered the ones from the wave that I wanted, but only Beast got shipped from Amazon. I just canceled the others. The figure isn't perfect, but still looks great.
Hey shartimus are you going to be getting the Amazon Exclusive Magneto Quicksilver & Scarlet Witch Three-Pack along with the Target Exclusive Black Suited Spider-Man & Kraven The Hunter Two-Pack sometime soon?
I feel like Multiple Man's coat's shade of brown is actually closer to the color of Gambit's from the comics an cartoon. I might try switching their coats and arms.
Can you do a review on the Kaiju Hakuja figure from Diamond Select Toys? Everybody seems to forget, that we had a great Kaiju figure from DST this year, and I think it is a really great one. It would be really good to hear your thoughts about that figure. Thanks.
The Spider-Man Noir has double-jointed elbows because those arms are part of the body mold used for the figure, which is the A.I.M soldier body, I believe. Hasbro couldn't have taken those arms from that body for this figure.
Skipped out on this one since the head sculpt jist aint doing it for me. But I did find a toybiz one for 4$ at a flea market and is orobably still the best artuculated/ good looking one out of all of them.
The effect piece is wrong in one way as pointed out by anthony's customs. The swoosh is past his hand. That is impossible as the end should be following his hand.
I don't see the eyes being too far apart, but I'm certainly not a fan of the peanut head. It's just way too tiny, and when you put it next to Rogue..my god!
There really is no comparison between Hasbro MLs & the TB versions. The TB versions were over articulated to the point they looked like marionette dolls & once a few of those many joints got loose, they couldn't stand upright anymore & would nose dive off the shelves. Always thought Hasbro would have a tough time 1 upping the Doc Ock figure but I was wrong.
They simply don't have it in stock yet. Stores like Target and Walmart are typically the first to get new marvel legends, which they got like maybe a week ago. BigBadToyStore should have it in stock very soon.
Triscuit Biscuitʕ•ᴥ•ʔ but shartimus and others have been getting theirs and plugging BBTS, so I’m wonder if you order the more expensive shipping, you get it faster, I had messaged BBTS and they said that they are still waiting on more. Just wondering
@@gavinbinder1366 BBTS might send early samples to reviewers, but I'm pretty sure they just get them from Walmart or something, and since most people use BBTS and BBTS usually sponsors reviewers, they just say you can get them at BBTS to keep BBTS happy.
