I ordered 2. Danny was my Ghost Rider. Always loved this look and glad they did a deluxe with the bike because that bike is probably more iconic than Danny himself.
It's unfortunate the complete character assassination and HEAVY continuity retcon they did to him after the brought Johnny back. I love johnny, but there is something about a lower middle class every man being cursed with the ghost rider. I even liked the guy with the car, despite them originally trying to say he was possessed by s serial killer and not a spirit of vengeance. (also weird his costume was an update of Blaze).
@@Lazrael32 Agreed. I liked the Johnny with the supernatural shotgun but he should have stayed a minor supporting character. Making Johnny and Danny long lost brothers would be like making Kyle Rayner Hal Jordan’s long lost brother. It just doesn’t make sense.

The logo on the gas cap is called the medallion of power, Danny, blaze and vengeance all had a piece of it bonded to their souls I believe, it's been awhile since I've read the 90's version of ghost rider 😅
they also heavily, (and stupidly) retconned a lot of it when johnny came back. then they did their usual, lots of people get to be a ghost rider thing that made it less special and interesting.
Damn I remember that in the old Fantastic Four/The Incredible Hulk cartoons He also had that sick echo voice when he was telling Galactus “A billion billion souls…”
@@kwamintaylor4247 u seem to be getting defensive for a compliment that i was trying to say towards your praise for hasbro I don't only collect marvel legends I have imports and bootlegs, I don't have a problem with hasbro or any other producers but they we're lazy for example the future foundation spider-man fig and the spider-man 2 fig, honestly I don't even have to explain myself to u cuz I don't have hate towards hasbro and i love collecting figs as much as u do probably
That's a cool looking set. The flame effects seem well done. Some gun metal/silver paint on his costume's metallic parts would've improved the look. He'd be even better if he had the same articulation as Jada's Street Fighter figs. Also a shame the front wheel doesn't turn. Maybe they could do a classic Johnny Blaze set next.

Need to find a way to suspend this against a wall. I have no room for this but it's a must have. He's driven up the side of buildings in the comics and movies. I think it could look great.
Yeah I'm getting sick of the same Ghost Rider head on every figure. The only one that doesn't is Cosmic Ghost Rider and only because it wouldn't fit in the dome helmet he has.
I have 2 issues with this release. 1- this is the 4th figure with the same head sculpt. They did a while new body for him, how hard would it had been to do a new head. 2- the "eye slots" on the motorcycle windshield should have had a frosted or white piece in it. That is basically his head lights. Just being completely open doesn't look right. Other wise, i love this figure. We finally get an accurate Danny Ketch, instead of a reissue of another Johnny Blaze.
I have the old Legends ghost rider and hesitated to order this. that was probably a mistake. i love the chain and the bike looks better. i love the eyes in this one and skull shape... but the flames seem off somehow. can't put my finger on it.
I think the flames around the skull are too narrow. The 90s Danny Ketch Ghost Rider was always drawn with more robust skull flames. Unfortunately, Hasbro just re-used the head from the Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider figures. I guess they didn't have the budget for a new head sculpt.
@@N.O.A_YT Yeah, that S B Toyz guy. The scaling looked awful. Same with the new Luke Cage. Cage is supposed to be the same height as Thor and Hasbro keeps making him look short. It’s ridiculous.

You accept whatever is given to you without inspecting or questioning even if something is clearly wrong. Well, plenty of us want our figures to accurately represent the characters we spend our money on. It’s 2024, not 1994 or even 2004. Technology has advanced and action figures are better than they have ever been before. There’s no reason for a character who is supposed to be 6’2” to have a Marvel Legends figure in 2024 that makes him look like he’s 5’8”. Ghost Rider isn’t supposed to look like a ‘short stuff’ guy.
Man Bobby i just cancelled ipthus about two weks ago, because of the joes and some mythic legions and monsters force is all coming soon,so i guess my fig from the last year or two will do, but vcool set up
Great review as always, Bobby! Shame they couldn't find a cheaper material for the chains and spikes. Wait, there IS no cheaper material. And they ran out of paint, I guess. Imagine how he would look with some silver on those pieces.

I asked Dwight is the wheel turned. Of course he "forgot" or didn't want i admit it won't. Either way I pre-ordered him. The retcon to make him a long lost brother to Johnny so they could explain how he became ghost rider didn't matter in the end. They started making Anyone and everyone ghost rider, 🤦♂️. Even some guy on a mammoth. The 1 million bc averages is so stupid
