OMIGOD! Jean Grey is finally GORGEOUS, and not DOOFY looking. Those facesculpts are both beautiful. The hair color looks on camera the way it should. My opinion is that nobody drew Jean Grey the way Jim Lee always did in the comics. She was so sexy and beautiful, I just couldn't . . . I was always disappointed that all of the Jean Grey figures were just such a disappointment. This figure, is NOT a disappointment. ❤

Would have been nice to see how the live triangle Jean head looks on the new animated body. I know the blues won’t match 100% but just have not seen anyone do it yet.

The hair does look a little animated but the head/face printing looks so much better than any Jean ML has done. This figure will be replacing “Comic” Jean I have on my X-men shelf. Best Jean yet …. But that’s not saying a whole lot from Hasbro

I didn't realize she had a ball joint waist. I passed on the figure because of the lack of torso articulation, but the waist seems decent enough I might get it.

The ponytail on my Jean pops out rather easily as well. The blue on the top of her head annoyed me a bit too, but a great figure over all! Love your review!

The ponytail is supposed to be articulated, though it is a bit too loose imo. I'm pretty sure they showed it off when they revealed the second wave

Yea i have never been in LOVE with this version of jean out of all the iconic versions especially the altered version for 97 but i will hold off until I see a truly definitive version (mafex has one but I don’t feel like spending that much)

Good review I have the VHS Jean and it’s fine I picked up Nightcrawler from this wave and all of the first will get Cyclops soon

much better wave than the 1st. I had to paint a custom head for cyclops, and I don't have jean, but the rest of the wave is really solid.

For me the love triangle version is still better, but it would have been perfect if they used the arm of the 97 version and the torso of the love triangle version

You can make the small modifications like paint the full line, and revert the sign.

lol. Not only did mines ponytail pop out but the actual hairpiece wasn’t glued down properly and there was a noticeable gap between the head and hair. Had to pull it all the way off and glue it down properly.

I am still sad that I won't be able to get this Jean Grey and Cyclops from this wave because they are all sold out and already overpriced on Amazon which I all I have to do is hope they can restock them on Amazon so I can get them both for price of$24.99, However, I am still very scared that both Hasbro and Amazon will not put Jean and Cyclops back in stock anytime soon, Overall, Great review on this Jean Grey figure.

p.s. this is tempting, but having old school JG and AoA JG, do I need another? Not sure yet, long game mode activated, thanks for the reviews. Also I like the rants, but I wish you'd show how far their arms go down to their sides as part of the articulation and stated as such, this new age of popped out arms (Vulcan) is not the best to me, seems less natural and less well engineered.
