As a kid, the AoA was my fav X-men storyline, because it was an interesting take on the franchise. I'm glad that they've released these figs. & hope they release more (& don't skimp on the accessories).
Finally Dan jajaja great review, BTW This version of Sunfire also was seen later in the 616 universe, if I remember correctly lady deathstrike cut of his legs in a fight and was later being kept in a hospital by the yoshida clan, that's when apocalypse who was resurrected came to him and offered to restore his power to his legs if he became one of his horsemen, sunfire agreed and once he was transformed to a horsemen this was his new design. Also a very similar version of this morph made it into the 616 universe (that one is from Earth-1081 he looks very similar and he makes it to the 616 somehow and joins the exiles who are if I believe all displaced characters from other dimensions) and wild child also wore a suit just like this one (without the collar) in the 616, so you could say that aside from weapon x and jean every other figure in this wave fits in one way or another in the 616.
I got this wave and fudged them all (except Jean and Weapon X) into my regular X-Men shelf towards the back, and Sugar Man and Dark Beast are over in the X-villains shelf.
