I heard someone mention Sabretooth should have come with claw hands, and I gotta agree! It didn't occur to me because I still had a lot of fun posing him without them.
He didn't have claws in AOA, or if he did he didn't use them. He was less animalistic in the AOA storyline. It wasn't until the very end when he fought Holocaust that he let the beast out
As always, this is a review you can trust. That said, I passed on this entire wave. There were just no figures here that appealed to the collector in me.
I still wanna get that Rogue! Joe Mads manga-esque Rogue was such a beloved design I'm glad shes getting her figure!( Not quite the same but close! ❤) Now I just need Blink, Iceman and Sunfire!
Shartimusprime, Thank you for inspiring me to collect MARVEL LEGENDS and even though I'm not a X-MEN Age Of Apocalypse fan, I would rank this wave........ 1. Cyclops because he is my second favorite X-MEN character 2. Rogue because I like the Jim Lee look also 3. Colossus because he looks badass 4. Kitty Pryde because she kicks ass 5. Iceman because he looks ''cool'' while being ''chill'' too 6. Magneto because he is my favorite X-MEN villain 7. Sabretooth because we do need a redo on a Jim Lee Sabretooth on the Collossus body mold which he uses 8. Legion because I'm not familiar with him
I did like the X-MEN at age 9 and now I'm 17 years old, I still do today because my favorite characters are Wolverine, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Professor Charles Xavier, Rogue, Gambit, Beast, Storm, Jubilee, Iceman, Colossus, Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler, and Pysloke.
Even though I'm a Marvel reader, I never got around to reading Age Of Apocalypse and these figs don't really grab me enough to buy them...except Shadowcat. Got her delivered a couple of weeks back, and gonna be part of a Kitty Pryde display I'm building up.
Man, I’ve been an AOA hater pretty much my whole life until I recently read the whole omnibus. I recommend renting it from the library if available. It was a really fun read!
@@ShartimusPrime Yeah I've heard great things but never gotten around to it. I was a Marvel fan in the 80s, then drifted away in the 90s before coming back when the MCU started, so there's some big event books just never got around to reading.
Wtf were they thinking, Sabretooth should have definitely came with clawed hands. Only figure I picked up from this wave is Magneto cause his outfit is so close to the classic look
Overall a solid wave, ice man was the best in my opinion. But did anyone else have a problem with the hair of cyclops just falling of right out of the package?
It was a good wave but a bit disappointing in some ways: Shadowcat looks a lot better with Black Widow's bracelets on her ankles. Cyclops needs boots replacement to look good - I used boots from Ultimate Captain America painted brown. And after seeing this video I'm thinking I'll get Morph's cape on Rogue 🤔 Oh and Legion I got only for the BAF piece so imagine how frustrating it was when it arrived with QC issues - left upper tight came with a right side part. But Colossus BAF is possibly the best BAF of the year maybe..? 😃
I wonder how far they are going to go into AoA? Naturally Holocaust or Juggernaut would be great new AoA BAF's. But the Inhumans from this series could be really cool looking figures.
I just picked the figures up they're pretty good tbh especially colossus, its an absolute unit of a figureeee, and magneti and ice man are amazing aswell

This wave AoA deuce could be the Wave o' the year . Even Cyclops who looks like he belongs in a 80s Synth band . I'm getting ready for him to get together with Guitar Spider-Man , and Dazzler so they can break out a version of The Safety Dance .
I love Sabertooth so much. It kinda kills me abit every time I see a review of him because everyone puts his chain in the wrong hand. The right hand has the metal gauntlet that the chain is attached to like in the comic. Otherwise it was a fantastic review.
22:35 I actually have a juggernaut wave iceman, its used but Un damaged I have the box and everything if you honestly want to buy one, I have no use for it now that I’ve purchased my new ice man from this wave
Are you gettin the Mafex Bishop to go with them? Can you try the Onslaught BAF blacked out head on Magneto? Would love to see Nemesis, Maybe even a redone Holocaust BAF wave, Storm, Askani & Illyana, a MKraan crystal prop would be sick. Gambit Quicksilver & Nightcrawler. A great deluxe/army builder figure would be the green Sentinel / human hunting robots

Most Hasbro Figures are easy to pass on, for me. They really need to hire better sculptors. I applied once but they just want interns to abuse, and I'm not interested in that.
Most careers, you need to be an intern first. My “pre-Shartimus” days, I worked for the government. Last year of college to first year out I worked an internship for a nearby municipality. It’s how it is. When we’re young, we’re pretty much a dime a dozen and worthless, until an opportunity arrises where you can prove yourself, and that’s what the internship is supposed to help with. After the internship I got a pretty good high paying job. We gotta pay our dues, runt! Lol It’s how the world works, no matter what your career goal is.
