What I will say is it makes sense for a lot of these to be similar since they are so similar to already established Marvel abilities that it just fits right into their characters.
To be fair, a blatant rip-off isn't inspiration... Palworld just got Sued because of it being a rip-off even though it's an inspiration... If you don't see how much they copied Overwatch 2 that is depressing. I mean Luna is Just Lucio with Damage boost instead of Speed.
i think it's a good thing in the beta, mainly because it's a good way to let people switch to a bigger variety of heroes during games rather than being stuck to just one, because we're supposed to feel and report how the game feels, not just play it competitevely
Role queue is pretty controversial in overwatch, personally I'm glad they didn't add it. I think without it, you have more creativity for team building
@Santusknowsyourlocation I agree, and that's most likely the reasoning behind it. it's just unfortunate to take forced losses due to dps being an over saturated role. It wouldn't be as bad if people switched before they were half a second from losing
@evandunn9942 the game does a pretty okay job of guiding team comps with the team-up system, which is good. but 4-6 dps isn't creative imo. even if role que wasn't a thing just limiting the number of x role on a team. it's not necessary or anything, I just think it's worth considering.
@@yonray2 well that's just quick play, everyone plays whoever they want. Ranked is where it gets interesting. I've seen teams run triple support, solo tank, 3 tanks and it works
If you add other games like apex , paladins , league of legends , all characters have at least 1 thing from some character from another game 😂😂 I like marvel rivals but "inspiration" is more like , soft copy , its a bit of wasted potential on the marvel characters All characters exept spiderman and loki i guess , are just generic and boring design wise. The potential the characters had , hulh is just dva but wierd because THE FUCKING HULK punches literally tickle , Hulk is not my favorite character by far , but it is the most misrepresented character imo Imagine his Thunderclap literaly explode like a giant Shockwave with a more limited radius knocking down enemies on the sky , and knocking back people on the ground His jump could be charged up the more you hold the button , being more vertical , and dealing more dmg and knockback on the floor His ability could be grabbing a part of the map as a boulder and charging it to throw further and deal more dmg or not His passive could be anger point (kinda like pokemon) The more dmg hulk takes the more dmg he deals (going up to like 10% or more dmg boost) His primary punches could be a chargable punch dealing dmg and knockback scaling from 0 knockback 20 dmg 0 knockback 50 dmg 30% knockback 100 dmg 50% knockback 150 dmg 100% knockback 200 dmg at max charge The punch would take a while to charge so its risk/reward to do so being able to hit multiple targets at once His ultimate could be him grabbing and slamming someone like he did to loki in the movie , but using the bodie to dmg others for about 8 seconds, and being able to end the ult early by throwing the enemie on another enemie or a wall dealing massive dmg to both This makes hulk more down to earth and more faithful to the character , he shouldnt have ranged options unless they make sense. His thunderclap in the game looks more like a small sigma rock 😂 And this is just the hulk , i have so many more things that they could have done to most characters that dissapointed me immensely Wasted potential
Mass Rez ult is a MISTAKE. Old meta of just hiding until the team dies. That and making Moira an actually good dps makes me not wanna play this game (definitely not just unable to get a PlayStation code)
Nah its already in game and its not broken,the health makes a big diference... its sounds bad, but marvel rivals fixed mercy like overwatch could never.
Trust me, if this ability was broken you would be hearing that EVERYWHERE. It’s probably because of smaller differences in game flow or Adam’s revive passive but this seems pretty balanced
It's pretty balanced for a mass rez. It takes a full 2 sec to cast and you can easily be melted during it meaning a wasted ult, it needs to be semi close, Adam doesn't even have any mobility skill or that many good heals so he's just an off healer, the ult only rez people at 100 hp (yes even tanks) but only gives them a brief and I said BRIEF (1 sec) of invincibility and the rez is a one time use. On the other hand, you can cast it before you think your teammates will die because the ult lasts 8 seconds (because it's a one time rez) and ummmm... If you don't have a second good healer to heal your team back to full before everyone dies again, your ult is pretty much useless! And considering everyone is playing 4 dps and 1 tank, it's best NOT to go Adam. And yeah, you need to plan your ult before time and also need a good main healer otherwise the mass rez ult is useless.
One cent for what the game is gonna be free Not only that but giving it to blizzard ain’t much better they quite literally use peoples money for nothing
