Im fine with Venom being like this in the movies because that version never bonded with Spider-Man so he never got his powers but thats not the case here. It seems the ONLY trait venom took was the logo on his chest. He has a completely different set of abilities in this game. No web swinging or wall crawling
I mean technically he can crawl on walls but I think we are unable to do so because during the segment where you play as him in SM2 there is no reason to web swing or climb as your just wreaking havoc. However I do believe by the time the Venom Game releases we will DEFINITELY be able to do these things.
@@Honestlynothingelse That would be cool although Harry was a great character too. He just didn't have the makings of a Venom. more like a confused manipulated guy being possessed by an alien to conquer the world. I hope Harry becomes hobgoblin as the Venom route does not need to be explored 2 games in a row.
I get what you mean Venom has always been big and bulky but web swings I think what Insomniac were going for was to make Venom more of an alien this time round hence the slimier suit for Peter. But they used the tendrils to give Venom a more unique move set instead of being a carve and copy of Peter. I think it's cool though I feel it would be nice if in the Venom game you can either web swing or use the tendrils to extend Venoms arms and swing that way

Yeah I feel like all the elements for a Venom game are already in place we just need to finish of this prototype with a standalone story and a few more cosmetics and gameplay features like proper traversal.
