Unless X-Men '97 goes until 2030, I can't see the X-Men game being all that successful. Granted, IF Marvel is coming out with SUCCESSFUL X-Men movies/series around then, that might change it. But since we don't really know when that stuff will happen, I can only really see a successful X-Men game if it happens now-ish. Now is when that demand is going to be SUPER high. People probably won't wanna wait the better part of 7 years for a new, and hopefully good, X-Men game.

The fact that there has been no major AAA x men game release and it is one of the biggest IPs in the world with some of the most beloved comic book characters? It's so wild to me. I have to wait until I'm in my mid 40s for some of these? Why... what a waste of time and potential. Easily could have done an incredible detailed X men RPG with core members of the team where it really gives the fantasy of being each character and using their powers in creative ways and not just mashing X like the old beat em' up games but instead really interrogate how to give each character that distinct flavor and fantasy. The fact that this hasn't even really been attempted since X-men legends is baffling

3 months? Three months this news has been out and I MISSED IT?!?! ASDFGHJKL!!!!! I've been waiting on a new X-Men game and they'd better freaking release it for PS4 because that's my main gamin platform (granted, all I ever play on it anymore are Sims and keep working on my Dreams projects.) Do want so bad. I'll probably never play Wolverine because I don't like the violence in M rated games, so this is perfect. I also missed out on a lot of the mobile games, but I should really get some of those and not let Otome games take up so much of my free time. Looking forward to this (if they do the smart thing and change their mind and have it across platforms)! Edit: Ummm 2030? AHAHAHAHA. Okay. Oww.

PS4 is still relevant now I would say. I think it depends on how widespread the PS6 is by then. I would think by 2030 roughly 2-3 years into PS6, wil be a ps6 exclusive
