Oh man, i fked up by using fast upgrade quite a bit. I thought it was the same cost as upgrading with boosters but it was just there for people who spend on the game to progress faster
@@AnnkiitTalwar Naw its only bad if you play hardcore tbh. Ever since the booster acquire changes, its pretty hard to get boosters if you only do dailies and such. I use the shop alot cuz i hit the credit cap quite a bit on weeks i only do dailies
The game is really nice and so refreshing in their concept with all the locations and effects, also i love the casual approach it has because its clearly not a competitive oriented game considering the amount of RNG it has, and i love how simple is the "ranks" system, it really doesnt matter if you win or lose, ure here just to have fun. The only thing i dont like is that ure forced to play with the cards they give you and there is no possibility of creating a deck with cards u want because u need to unlock them, i love the Thanos Card desing and i wanna make a deck with him but until i get to pool 3 wich is around collection lvl 430 i wont be able, and in my opinion the F2P progress is slow, u should be rewarded if u spent hours playing and not only via missions wich refresh from 8 hours to 8 hours, apart from that this game is great and im loving it
Amazing points!! And yeah Im the same way. Im not as motivated by rank but by deck crafting, having fun, and making fun (and risky!) plays for content! The FTP mechanics are fair, but it does feel slow when you want to unlock things faster and faster. I know the feeling. I hope you stick with the game, it's so good!
I fell for the Fast Upgrade bait and thought it was the main way to upgrade cards. I didn't calculate or recognize that I was simply *buying* boosters. I thought it was an alternative adjacent to boosters. Only until I instantly ran out of credits did I realize that I overspent at the Fast Upgrade. Then I've been playing a LOT and felt like the quests and daily credits don't refill fast enough. Hearing the actual math: every 8 hours is 3 times per day, that's really generous and I'm realizing that I'm actually overplaying the game. I just got it, but I need to not play it for a good few hours and then I'll have new quests to start earning back my credits. Thank you for these tips.
Fuck I've been playing for months and you only just made me realise it's more cost efficient to refresh mission than to buy credits with gold. Thanks man
Important update from his newest video: DO NOT SPEND GOLD REFRESHING DAILY MISSIONS. On an aside, it's interesting that most of the tips are basically "Ignore most of the ways to spend currency in the shop". I think that's great advice for any mobile game.
I think you should inform people that fast upgrade can help if they only play minimally. You get boosters for playing, bit if someone only plays 20-30 mins a day, they will actually have more credits than boosters. Fast track will allow them to spend them so they don't cap out if they don't have enough boosters.
true, you definitely aren’t wrong but at that point of playing minimally you aren’t in a deep need of needing to maximize cause the general consensus is play the game, you’ll get boosters but credits are limited daily/weekly
@@SumoneAverage you are in more a need of maximizing because of a credit cap. So you need to find out where you will be able to spend your credits before you cap.
I usually just craft a deck that is a "hacker" deck and it messes with folks who craft their deck to do specific things. No rhyme or reason to my decks, although I did design a few for specifics like my all 1 and 2 with one 6 deck and a stop reveal deck. I prefer my hacker deck...just like with Yu Gi Oh, you can craft the perfect deck but if you don't know how to use your cards, you can be beaten by a literal hack with unpredictable counters. Example: Use Rhino to destroy an area Storm is flooding and then as Ruins you can still play cards there, but if you get to clone Storm or move her or copy to another location she can lock out all three locations...but Cosmo can also prevent her from working, but the Rhino rampage is so underrated. Just my two cents. Thanks for your guides, they are very detailed and appreciated.
One thing I did was make a deck full of common cards to get booster rewards for those cards and quickly gain collection level. It might hurt your rank a bit but I don’t particularly care about rank and getting cards quicker will help me get a better collection. Not sure if this is actually good advice or not if somebody else can give their two cents on this method.
I’ve been doing that as well! Have been trying to stay in as many games until turn 4 as well, because after turn 4, you get more boosters. For example, if you retreat after turn 4, you’d still get at least 5 boosters for a common card (not sure how exactly the math works, just that after turn 4 is an important cut off)
I appreciate this…just started playing switched off from Mcoc and you explained the common uncommon infinity aspect. I’ve one question what are boosters for.
Excellent video! I’ve played a lot of resource scarce games in the past and I’ve been wondering how to spend credits since I started a few days ago. Keep up the great work!
I played this game some evenings (got to collectionlevel 160, free to play): im winning like 90% of battles on the random deck i got. Feel that ive seen what the game has to offer. Its been pretty fun at times, but the novelty died off. Now its okish fun to start while sitting in a waitingroom etc.
@@BigJuice69 by the way: how can you know which card you have a upgrade for? I often got like 20 cards blinking with that green arrow animation going upwards.. and i have to click into all of them untill i luckily find one possible to upgrade (it got a red button on the right hand side after i clicked on it)... since that i rarely bother to upgrade.. takes awhile to click them all :/ Seems like poor gamedesign to me.
@@casualonemmo-player2167 in your collection there should be a button to change the sort type in the bottom left corner, from there you can select "upgradeable"
@@BigJuice69 hey thanks. I managed to tinker with those small buttons to filter. Now the 16 cards that has that green arrow animation over them are showing at the very top. Though it still doesnt show me which one i can upgrade, so i have to manually check each and every one :/
@@casualonemmo-player2167 I know I'm a month late, but as Alex mentioned in the video, the card's border determines it's rarity. Gray border is a common which costs 25 credits. So here's your situation: (A) Filter via Upgradeable as Tom said. (B) You see the green arrows, which means you have enough boosters. (C) You can't upgrade the card, but if you have the boosters, that means you don't have enough credits. (D) Thus, the cheapest upgrade is gray for 25 credits, then green for 100 credits. (E) Look at your current credit amount - if you have for grays, click those first, and upgrade them. There isn't any other "upgrade" currency - if you have boosters, you're missing credits. If you're missing boosters, there won't be green arrows and it won't be filtered for "Upgradable"
Normally I F2P as much as possible but that Venom card back at level 100 is too enticing so I need as many cards as possible, to find those sweet sweet combos, to get that card back as fast as possible. Anything Venom is my weakness.
I wonder whether an updated video is worthwhile - check in whether the advice remains accurate a year later. Most of it seems correct still, but you've also talked about changes, such as with mission refills.
I wish I knew all this before I started. Thought fast upgrade was cheaper/discount and realize late it wasn't. Also haven't manage to upgrade to infinity for even one. Also spend gold to buy credits earlier instead of missions. Anyways we r at the same rank based on the current video. Question: should I upgrade all common first or focus to get 1 of it to infinity or depends on booster?
Ahahaha yeah my rank is weird right now because I'm matching against people with 2.5-3k collection scores while also playing beginner pool 1 decks ahahahaha (for content!!). I would upgrade all your Commons, yeah, if you want to progress faster. Just note that you'll be matched against the same collection level. Might be easier to surpress you CL if you wanna rank
@@AlexanderCoccia Hahaha yea the pain for content. Y not use another acc/phone for content and 1 for rank though dk how much that helps. I see u be match according to collection level... I barely in pool 2 so I guess I can hold of upgrading commons and also mission to upgrade cld appear.
I play Snap for 6 days now and what I did was getting all pool 1 cards then stop proceeding my collection level. this way I play only vs pool 1 with a strong deck and right now i hit ranked 90 for those extra credits and gold.
is there a way to guarantee specific boosters for a card? I've been trying upgrade a certain card to Infinity level and its taking forever! And yes, I've been playing matches with the specific card in it.
You say boosters are crap, but I can't spend credits without boosters. I fear I'm going to cap my credits before I can spend them because the boosters are often character specific, leaving many commons high and dry.
Thank you, that was helpful! I also watched your video on cards pools, which I didn't understand. So golds can only be used to buy alternative arts or to refill 2 missions is that correct? As a free 2 play player I would obviously not buy arts, but I don't feel super happy about buying missions refill. Might as well wait, do other things in life, and come back. Than to spend all my gold on an infinite grindy journey! Maybe they release new use of gold later yes, I'd hoard golds I guess.
I think spending your gold on bundles would be better, I too didn't feel comfortable spending my gold on mission refills and wasted 360 before I learned about bundles and now I regret my decision.
I have been playing for 2 days and now I need to restart from beginning because I wasted so much credits on fast upgrade. Many here did the same. I am stuck at zero credit, although it’s still too early and I can recover back my loss but it still better to get it right earlier because it’s not so much f2p friendly unless I do it right.
Reach 3500 lvl because i use fast upgrade....... I wish credit is real money but who say in game money is worth to save while the government, royalty, rich people and criminal don't care about real save money and they make money today..... Reality
A question, sir: as for the spider-woman and carnage variants that we get in the season pass, will they be playable as soon as I unlock them, or will I still need to get their base forms? Great vid, by the way!
@@AlexanderCoccia will the season pass variants be available in the future or are they fully exclusive to the passes? i really want to get every pixel variant but it would suck if some get locked behind a pass
You and I are not playing the same game. "Don't horde your credits, but don't spend them on boosts." Well wtf am I supposed to spend them on? That is literally the only thing credits are good for. Also the cap is 10k, not 5k.
@@POLARBEAR.17 I know exactly what he's talking about tyvm. Recent changes to the game made boosters much more plentiful, but back when I commented on this video a year ago, my statement was 100% true: the choice was to either spend credits on fast upgrades or cap out and lose credits by way of having them just fall on the floor and disappear.
Yo sorry I gotta say that but tip 10 is not a good tip at all. It maybe used to be but as it is right now, u cant leave this without a disclaimer. E.g I started playing at the end of Jan and spend till the anouncement of newer Bundles (Birthpool) a total of 840 Gold. I'm pretty sure that this will still be watched by new players so it would be cool to make this clear at least.
I downloaded the game today and there’s a quest to do 1 daily quest but I don’t have a daily quest tab or anything saying I need to be a certain level to unlock. Any help would be greatly appreciated
It's weird. I'm collection 130 now (half way through Pool 1), and I always have more Credits than Boosters. And that's with me buying all of the Fast Upgrades. Does this change at some point? Because right now, Boosters are my limit to upgrading, not Credits.
I love this game. Im free to play. I dont get what upgrading my cards does besides making them look cooler. But i really want magneto from the season pass but im definetly not gonna pay money. That way if i lose to someone who spent money i dont feel bad. Cause they are try hard weirdos
