You know……when Blade looks at Deadpool and says, “There’s only ONE Blade!!!”, Deadpool breaks the fourth wall and looks into the camera 😂😂😂that was kinda cool
No one cannot replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. No one cannot replace Ryan Renolds as Deadpool. Wesley Snipe walked in... Crowd: The god father of Marvel 🤯
If they stood up Christopher Reeves in his casket in a Superman movie, he'd get a Standing ovation too what exactly is the point here? People age out Vampires don't.
I cried when I saw him, then I cried again when the shot of him and Jennifer Garner showed both of them with their shoulders somewhat down. Aging s*cks!
Wesley Snipes’ Blade was the first blockbuster Marvel film! And saved Marvel Entertainment! (he paved the way for X-Men, Spider-Man, Daredevil, Hulk, The Punisher, Fantastic Four, Elektra, Ghost Rider films)
@SmokeStack-yk3kz Yeah, the guy trying to do the current reboot just doesn't have the right intensity, about the only suitable actor that comes close is Michael Jai White, I know he does the voice and atleast has the martial arts background aswell.
No all these old ass actors can move on, give new actor a chance this is stupid, yo I don't want to see Robert Downey Jr no more, I don't want to see f****** Wesley Snipes I don't want to see f****** who else is it I'm tired of seeing hugh Jackman as wolverine get this dude out of here man and he looks stupid in that mask other than bleeding in the f****** wolverine and Deadpool movie that movie was hot garbage.
At this point, I think the Blade reboot should be postponed and they should make Blade 4. Mahershala Ali is already 50. Snipes is only 11 years older than him. It’s obvious Snipes still wants to do the role, and in my opinion he’s in way better condition to be Blade
I love Blade. The one and only Blade, of course. Since Blade ages like a human and Wesley is a real martial artist he can absolutely come back. Ryan Reynolds may actually be Marvel Jesus. We may get Wesley back because of this. God damn!
I geeked out at two moments. Wolverine pulling the cowl over his head and Blade (Wesley) walking onto the screen. Wesley is the reason Marvel is alive.
The best part of wesley role in DandW was that they didnt try to make him young...He was an OG. He lost a lil size but nobody can play Blade like Wesley
Yes....Wesley has lost a lot of weight and his eyes look strange now...definitely some kind of health issues. But he stepped right back into character so well. I am happy for him.
Hopefully Marvel will listen and given the fans what they want. To me just given Wesley the money to make the film and let him create another production company to shoot the film.
Would be nice. But he's 61 now so idk man. They would want to make blade a part of the future phases and by that time he will be knocking on 70 so I don't see it happening maybe another appearance like Avengers or something though since people do want more .
Wesley will always be Blade just as Hugh will always be Wolverine and Ryan will always be Deadpool. On a side note, I never thought Channing Tatum would be so good as Gambit
You know why people prefer Wesleys Blade over Marshila? Wesley brings that masculine energy to the character. Hes built like a man and carries himself as such. Marshila may be a good actor but hes a little guy.
He's actually taller than Wesley tho. In Wesley's heyday he was jacked but Ali is probably in better shape than Wesley who's only 5'9 while Ali is 6'1 as today.
Plus, what is Ali's martial arts background? Wesley is a beast and Ali would have to put in some very serious work to get near Wesley's level to pull off the fight scenes for Blade.
Except Logan Sucked and was super Boring Xavier reminded me of an Old Senile Grandpa drooling The whole movie felt like a nursing home fever dream full of Extra F Bombs that didn't really seem necessary.
@@jorge5275That's certainly an opinion if I ever heard one. Thankfully, the majority don't agree with you. Skibidi Toilet might just be up your alley, though.
Fact. I saw it on Thursday July 25th at Atlantic Station in ATLANTA. The crowd went crazy when Wesley came out. I had watery eyes as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if Wesley returns in Secret Wars.
Like Deadpool was saying they should stop with the multiverse/time travel stuff. With that said, Deadpool should be its own universe with the new additions of Blade, X23, Elektra, and Gambit. It was nice seeing Wesley Snipes in a fighting scene again.
They could do a double “Blade” team up movie with both actors, Snipes and ALi. Have the OG Blade train the rookie Blade then eventually pass the torch.
@@beanorod-zt2nl That only happened because Ryan Reynolds fought tooth and nail to get Wesley on board. Blade only appeared in the film because Ryan brought him on. Deadpool really is Marvel J-sus.
I had actually thought to myself that Wesley was too old. Then he walked on camera, and it was clear as day, he could step right back into the role no problem.
I live in Indiana. When Blade walked out, the two front rows went bananas! They jumped in their seats, ran back and forth & everyone screamed at the top of their lungs
The MCU has the next 30 films set up quite easily it’s not a “problem” necessarily. However the dialogue coming from Wesley snipes directly suggests that marshala Ali isn’t coming
I was just a 6 year old white kid when the original Blade came out, the next day I had a stick and was pretending to be Blade in my cousin's yard. I saw the film Thursday night and I too can confirm that Wesley Snipes' return as Blade got the biggest reaction from the crowd. I was pumping my fist in the air!
I’m from the UK, and we generally watch movies in silence. But when Blade appeared, the audience definitely expressed their approval - in a British way of course.
@@BokushingusKendoTV The Wolverine Who was in the barn fixing up the motorcycle.. Homage back to Wolverine: Origins scene, but idk how you missed it when Deadpool himself call's him Cavill or Henry.
@@martinmccormick2166 thanks. I did google to figure out which one. But yeah i don’t know how i missed it. But i am use to seeing Cavil clean shaven Although, i must admit that oil rig scene in Man of steel. When my son and i first saw it, we both thought he looked like Wolverine!
There were so many cameos and unexpected guests but Blade's entrance was iconic. I don't think Marvel knew he would get this big of a reception. The plot leaks of MCU's blade reboot don't sound all that great especially compared to this new reintroduction of the original.
That scene got a huge reaction in my theater in Anchorage as well. I agree with you. Wesley is Blade. Mr. Ali would do a great job, but he's no Wesley.
No they have a Disney problem. It's the same problem many properties that were bought by them have. The people in charge don't actually have any respect or admiration for the intellectual properties that the company possesses. All they care about is scoring social points and trying to figure out how to make money while doing it Ironically they are failing on both of those initiatives.
Ali blade is over that's why they brought Wesley out.. Marvel wouldn't tease the fans with Wesley then expect to make millions with Ali aka the fake blade
I thought the same thing. They are in the Hugh Jackman "no one can replace him" situation. I think they should give him at least some kind of one off Disney+ show, or Disney showcase. You know Chad Stahelski wants to make a Blade movie WITH Wesley Snipes.
Dude when I saw Wesley back as Blade I nearly lost my mind! FN awesome! Also loved that he said "there's only one Blade". We don't need a new Blade, yes he's older but he's still in great shape and looks great. We don't want another Blade. Bring back Wesley!!!👍👍
When Blade/Wesley Snipes came on the screen. I was literally freaking out and shaking my brother’s shoulder saying OH MY GOD NO WAY!!! Yeah the most hype moment in the movie. And I was so glad he wasn’t in there for just 30 seconds they gave them a part in the movie.
Yo! Those Blade, Elektra, and Gambit scenes were my favorite part of the Deadpool film. Damn straight there is only one blade! - and Snipes isn’t. My man! 😂
My brother, everything you said is true! Give us, "Old Man Blade!" I don't care how old Wesley Snipes gets ... He "Is Blade!" Nobody can replace him! Trying to replace him is like trying to replace Sylvester Stallone as Rocky or Mr. T. as B.A. Baracus. Nobody can play Rocky except Sylvester, and no one can play B.A. Baracus except Mr. T. Some people are literally born to play a particular role. No matter how good someone else is as an actor, they still can't fill the role because they were born to play something else. Having said that, Wesley Snipes "IS BLADE!!" If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it!!
I am glad for Snipes because he alone kept the MCU alive and gave it the chance to be what it is now. No one cared for any other Marvel movies back then. Still it sucks because most likely Ali’s version will likely never see the light of day.
they had bad d quality movies in the early 90s and their cartoons were dog***t until X-Men tas came up and they decided to put money in the other cartoons. Snipes was big in the 90s and the confidence X-Men TAS gave them, allowed them to pull the trigger on Blade 1 with a proper budget, after its success, the other movies happened, X-Men, Spiderman and so on. Snipes owes X-Men TAS the Blade role but the entire MCU owes Snipes its existence.
To me, it seems like Ryan pulled what he did back when he wanted Fox to green-light the first Deadpool movie. When he leaked the Deadpool footage to the public... how we all went crazy and demanded a Deadpool movie after that. Same with Wesley's Blade. The crowds went wild and that's a majority of what everyone is talking about. Maybe there is a future for nostalgic Blade in the future MCU. He still has that menacing aura and he can still fight (some of those scenes was really him IMO)
The only blade problem was his haircut and his old man goatee Everything else was EPIC And they made it blatantly obvious that it will be Wesley Snipes coming back Blade said one that let you know that his legacy will be similar to Hugh Jackman Robert Downey Jr.’s Chris Hemsworth and Doctor Strange legacy characters that won’t have a new face
Robert Downey Jr is only 2 years younger than Wesley Snipes and he is about to appear as Dr Doom in an Avengers movie years away.Just think about that. Why is no one saying that he is too old.
