Odin made Thor a mortal when he sent him to earth and he wasn’t worthy anymore to carry the hammer. So he was basically a human when he got shot with the arrow.
Shows just how powerful, brutal & versatile the Ant-Man character can be! "Move or I'll make you move - call back to Ayo to BW in Civil War: "Move or you will be moved" Lake Bell did a good job & now joins Jeffrey Wright as the latest actor to get that DC & Marvel money!
@@ashura3313 the show is showing that all 3 movies happened within a week. I was pointing out Thor 1 because people wondered how he could be killed by a regular arrow.
@@qcjackson5612 Well if you know the comics or watch the movies then it's not that complicated so I don't know why people are confused since Thor was made mortal because of Odin.
Yo I cannot eat and watch you guys! I almost choked when Amber said “that’s that A-B-A-B Up Down” 😂. Alyssa not much better with The Bone Collector 😂 🤣
A double play seeing my Queens twice in the same day. I'm honored! The original Ant Man snapped and showed how deadly shrinking and Yellowjacket suit can be. Whenever they continue some of these episodes are gonna be crucial!
Howard Stark said: "He just beat you up full size... you wanna find out what it's like when you can't see him coming". He knew Hank Pym was a problem and this episode was hard to get through (DESPAIR), they should've have honored Hope in the first place and maybe this could've been avoided.
Marvel has had a great two weeks. The T'challa episode of What...if? did great numbers. They announced plans for Captain America 4 movie (with Mackie and Stan of course) RiRi Willams (Ironheart) will be introduced in BP Wakanda Forever, the Spiderman No Way Home trailer got over 300 million views, Shang Chi got stellar reviews and Marvel is creating their own animation studio.
Smart. I love your, "think outside the box" mentality about Marvel preparing us for New Avengers in Phase 4. Teaching us to let go of the characters we already love, and to embrace the new upcoming Avengers. And, Lovely reactions from y'all as always. Keep it up. 👏🏾😌💯
Another great episode and give Amber a big thumbs up for deducing ( or guessing LOL ! ) that it was Antman's Technology that was being used to murder the other Avengers. The Hank Pym twist was a little unexpected but the moment that Natasha found out that nano-tech was involved and reported it Fury (assuming she had the chance to tell Fury ) Hank Pym should have been at the top of the list as a possible suspect. Since Hope was an Agent of Shield it stands to reason that SHIELD may have been familiar with the technology and add to the fact that Pym had a huge grudge against SHIELD and Fury in particular.
They plan on doing multiple seasons. Next year there will be 9 episodes. Feige says next year there will be a focus on Phase 4 movies. The great thing is that these stories aren't just one off stories. They will pick up from the end of each one. Rumor has it Dr. Strange is next week.
Alyssa, you were asking about where you heard "lavender" before. You might be thinking about Wandavision when Agnes sprayed it on the twins to try to help them sleep.
loved how loki fury bitched slapped hank pym hank: his death was a favor yours will be a triumph (loki fury smacks the shit out of hank) me as loki fury: mother fucker!!!! You lost your mind? Im nick Fury!
“Oh no, anaphylaxis….” Absolutely LMAO from moment 1! I hated Hank from long ago - I remember reading the old comics where he abused Janet. So I can definitely see him as a killer. Right with you on ‘show me all of it now!’
This was a good mystery, great pacing, lots of surprises, and a VERY unexpected and creative inflection point. Great job by Marvel on this one. ESPECIALLY if y'all enjoyed episode one, y'all ought to watch "Agent Carter". It was awesome.
What if Hope Van Dyne became an agent of Shield? She would have been sent on a mission instead of Natasha, a mission to escort an engineer out of Iran, the Winter Soldier shoot their tyres near Odessa, Ukraine and killed both of them... HOPE WAS KILLED BY THE WINTER SOLDIER. I wouldn't be surprised if his mission in the universe was to kill both of them, not only the engineer, so Hank will go crazy and killed the Avengers before they even started.
6:25 Agatha sprayed lavender onto the twins in Wandavision to calm them down to sleep. She also said her husband Ralph would spray her too….That’s probably what you’re remembering.
@@WhatWeWatchin And now that I'm thinking about it....in Endgame Frigga told Thor she was "Raised by witches". Lavender might be a part of witch culture in the MCU, mom put him on game and Thor's crazy ass does smell like lavender. lol
You guys got to Ant Man a lot faster than I did. I did not even consider any of the shrinkers until Nat displayed Janet Van Dyne on the computer. Good catch. Next time I am in a tight spot I am going straight A,B,A,B,Up,Down on them. Great reaction. Hank was always mentally borderline, plus it is established lore that exposure to Pym particles has the potential to make you demented. This story was very plausible.
Good reaction. I wonder if there is a follow up to this because I'm wondering if there was more to this situation. Hank says Thor's death was a favor, which could mean he did it for someone else, but its Loki when he first arrived he mentions an agent killed his brother. But how would he know it was an agent? It was a strange choice to describe the killer. And hank use to be an SHIELD agent himself. So its something to think about.
5:33 @What We Watchin'?! After Thor the Warriors Three, Sif and Loki invaded Jotunheim in the first movie, breaking Odin's treaty with Laufey, nearly starting a war all over again, Odin stripped Thor of his power and took Mjolnir away from him. He cast Thor out of Asgard, sending to Earth to humble him. At this point in the story, Thor still hadn't learned his lesson. He was still a jerk. It wasn't until Loki sent Destroyer to Earth to level the town Thor was in did he change. He put people before his own needs and became worthy of the Hammer and once again possessed the Power of Thor--Odin enchanted Mjolnir with Thor's power, and that's why he died so easily; he was made mortal.
Thor's powers were removed by his father in the first movie so when he was on Earth, he was human The killer turned the injector into a gun to kill Tony In the first Thor movie, Loki turned blue with red eyes whenever he held that box. He doesn't here Asgard was always depicted in the movies as a city only There are way too many soldiers than Asgard could hold I think the next episode is What If Killmonger became a hero and king of Wakanda
This episode made me realize just how dangerous the main Ant Man characters could be. The Quantum Crew (Hank, Janet, Hope, Scott and even Ghost) could do major damage with their knowledge and abilities. Although this episode also proved they can get wrecked by magic users. Loki was toying with Hank made quick work of him. Imagine what would happened if they had to face Dr Strange or Wanda.
I thought I was seeing double. Then I realized you posted two videos 😅 Also the way y’all synchronized the “noooo” when hulk blew up 😂 There is a ton of what ifs comics. For example.. what if daredevil was employed by Kingpin? What if Spider-Man was the punisher?
I don't understand why people get so confused about Thor's death, he was mortal at the time and even when he's not he can still be killed; did everyone forget that Asgardians use spears and swords as weapons, meaning he can clearly be killed and injured by one.
We forgot he was mortal at the time. But he's also a god so it seem odd that it would be so easy to kill him when he has his abilities. He took a pretty good beating from Hulk and didn't have a scratch.
