This theme is one of the best from this game and Omega Red himself is so badass. Someone asked me to cover this one years ago and I finally came around to doing it. It was so much fun to make my own rock cover of this incredible theme song.
always been one of my favorites from this game. but overall this game has a REALLY good ost. I love not having to sit through more sf2 remixes, so when I realized all the SF people got original themes in this... I was sold
Little is known about the past of Arkady Gregorivich Rossovich except that he was a serial killer born in Russia. He was captured by the Interpol agent Sean Cassidy and turned over to the KGB, which wanted to experiment and attempt to create a supersoldier similar to Captain America. Omega Red is the end result. In another version of Omega Red's past, Arkady was a Soviet soldier stationed in a small Siberian town. He was a murderer, his crimes easily discoverable due to the town's small size and limited number of potential victims. He was caught by his fellow soldiers and summarily executed via a gunshot to the back of the head. His superiors are astonished when Arkady survives the execution, and recommend him for the aforementioned Soviet super soldier project, a brutal process, it is suggested that Arkady survives solely due to his evil and cruel nature. He becomes an operative for Soviet intelligence and the KGB. If Omega Red is a Soviet soldier I'm guessing Spetznaz or GRU
I really love how they kept Omega Red's theme from COTA largely the same when they could have easily have given him a new theme like they did with all the COTA characters. Just shows how good Omega Red's theme was in COTA
I can’t quite remember it since it’s been 15+ years ago but I actually kinda remember a bit of each part of the music, and throughout the years randomly when I’m gaming and think about anything that starts with Omega, specially Omega itself the watches company, I’m like in my head: “OMEGA DESTROYER!!” 😂
My favorite theme from MSH vs SF. I love how unique it sounds compared to the other tracks. It's like this weird hybrid of New Jack Swing, sitar, and brass and Capcom gave it to Omega Red of all characters.

@Boyd whoa, calm down, hold the rage...the melody for me is a sitar like one, sitar reminds me of Indian music, just that...and saying it sounds like Indian music isn't something bad, the Indian music is very beautiful
Capcom didn't have the rights for Dr. Doom and Iron Man at that time. So they were replaced by BlackHeart and Omega Red. That's why War Machine is in Marvel vs. Capcom and is basically a Iron Man pallete swap at that time.
