This vid was posted almost a decade ago, and we still can't figure out what the first song is. Even with Shazam, SoundHound... nothing. I even edited the song to take the SFX out (luckily he did the video with different audio channels for the music and FX) and gave it to friends to listen to. Nothing. No response from the poster either; I tried. One day, the great mystery shall be solved. The second song is Shiki - Sepia.
Okay, the air rave system works like this: Launch your opponent, the immediately jump. Then you should chain as Weak Punch>Weak Kick>Medium Punch>Medium Kick>Strong Punch>Strong Kick. Note you have to press the buttons rather fast.
On my PS2 (2002) copy of the game in training the life bars go down. That is the default setting and I don't see an option to change it. I also see no way to change the stage in training mode, so you only play on the grid walled and floored stage. After playing SF IV for months on my 360, I'm really starting to appreciate the challenge and training modes it offered. Is there anyway to know what moves have overhead and low hit properties? I can't set the dummy to crouch and ALL/AUTO BLOCK.
over the years ive gotten more and more into mvc2 i love the combo system and air combos, wish they would come out with another one , tetsunoko vs capcom is pretty cool if u havent played that yet
Also, a LOT of the infinites only work on Sentinel(huge character) or Roll/Servbot (tiny). Some legit and impressive infinites (and maybe usable if you have mad skill), on the other hand, are: Cyclops, Ironman, Strider, Tron Bonne, Shuma Gorath, Storm, Dhalsim, Hulk, Blackheart, Magneto, Morrigan, Roll.
A lot of the combos in this video are very real. I've seen both the Blackheart and Thanos combos in action online, and the wolverine combo can be done with fast inputs, as I managed to get up to 12 before I messed up. Anyway, infinites are a cheap way to victory who don't want to put effort into a real match.
@OTKSotHQ that's how the combo system in marvel 2 works. the dizzy (flying up into the air spinning) is an infinite prevention mechanism designed to stop a loop after a certain amount of time (generally 50 hits or so). in this game there's honestly 2 true infinites, BH's pillar infinite with ice pillar and demons, and cammy has the second one, (though now seeing trons servebot grab infinite, that might be one as well since it's all special state)

The only problem with Nash is that the Sonic Boom actually hits as if it registers it as a vital move instead of special, so it makes the opponent spin/.
they sould input the devil may cry style combo system to deal with infinities. if you keep doing the same move over and over, it does NO damage and you get a grade F which stands for FAIL. would that work????

hahahaha i have finally found the name of the 2 songs (i think) one is "sepia" by shiki and the other is "Moudamepo ver 2.0" (if im spelling it right) by eternity but anyone correct me if i am wrong about the artist/songs because i could not find these mp3's anywhere... the names of the song were on a few posts that i visited...

I'm looking for it now; if anyone can help with the search to find it again, a 13 year old search can finally come to an end.
This is an exhibition video. Its like watching the Harlem Globe Trotters play, or watching a Kung Fu movie. Its there for show and entertainment. Only some of it is used in a real match, such as Mag's infinite, Storm's infinite and the combos vs sentinel.

He's using the rocket special, the infinite is servbot specific though. This is just showing what CAN be done, not what always happen. The only useful infinites that are in this are Mag's Rom, The Doom infinite, Blackhearts Hk demon infinite, and all the sentinel rejump infinites (the only character specific infinite you should learn with any character).
@xhappyxscreamingx Sure,if you have played the previous Marvel Vs games,you'll know that when spider man does certain attacks, he takes that position just before hitting the enemy,in this video,I think thats the way he calls his partner.
After about a minute of constant infinites, the looping voice audio finally got to me and made me LOL. I wonder if I'll be seeing lots of this on live when it comes out.... Are these infinites easy to initiate and follow thru?
