Just for the fill in: Amaterasu is a Wolf Deity based of a Japanese Sun god. In her game "Okami", you are summoned to rid the lands from evil spirits who hold curses across the lands. Your powers are controlled by ink and are a bit elemental. It is only for the Wii and the PS2, however there is a sequel arriving for the (3)DS.

Man, and I get ultrageeks' insults when I don't know real obscure facts from comics as a LOOOOOONG term reader. I myself am not a every-paperback-buyer, but every time I see some tasty compilation on superheroes, or short but dense mangas (Masamune Shirow), or again european sci fi compilations (albums are too expensive) I have to. @chugganeutral no, he appeared on the Spider-man animated series but in the same way how Kingpin is mainly Daredevil's villain, Dormammu is a main villain to Dr. Strange.

Amaterasu is from Okami, one of the best Wii games (in my opinion) ever. You guys should play it (it doesn't have to be on the show). She is basically God and has a bunch of elements and the Divine Instruments as attacks (at least that's what I've seen from the trailers)

Simple mode makes it hard/impossible(?) to pull off the combos because it kinda does an auto complete for attacks, like bayonetta easy. If you choose normal mode you can do all the combos. I rented this game twice, and while I enjoyed it a lot, online mode left a lot to be desired. The long wait times make it worthless, especially if you're out of the room when it's finally your turn.

in character menu select the person you want then press LB or RB to change the costume so for example spidey turns into black spidey and black spidey turns into a greenish spidey

FRAISER, when the game came out the people I didn't know was deadpool,M.O.D.O.K, super skrull, "ghost rider" aka dommamru who's basically the space devil, skull face man (forget his name..) who is deadpool's rival, X-23, Tronne Bonn who is a random mega man character, Pheniox who is actually Gene Gray, I STILL have know idea were felicia and random zombie chick come from... All I use though is DEADPOOL, ARTHUR, and VIEWTIFUL JOE!

@Macracer202 well Okami isn't exactly the most mainstream of titles. An underrated masterpiece if you ask me. Hopefully her appearance in this game and the new ds game will bring the series to the attention of more people
