Carl Bloke think the comic issue is called ground basically in summary he is now stuck on a planet he never wanted to be in (earth) the very planet that people make fun of him for looking like the "dumb furry things"(raccoons) that inhabit the planet..and basically he wants out its on going at the moment so it's still fresh and vague.
Rocket feels like the biggest coincidencental gold mine Capcom came across while building their roster. The Guardians films weren't even announced to be in development until half a year after UMvC3 came out. Really is a shame how far the ball got dropped.

I just love his dialogue and accent. RR always seem to talk like if he knew about the serious protest and treatment fans were giving him before UMvC3, saying that he was unknown, unwanted, and stupid; so, his dialogue consists of how much he wants to beat the ever-loving crap out of people. ;)
I'm still amused how RR is the one who gets after Chris for having Raccoon City get blown up when he had little to with it instead of Jill. Chris just can't get a break.
According to the MvC wiki, Halfworld is where Rocket Raccoon, and many other animals like him, are from. I can't remember all the details, but they explained it pretty well.
i heard of a version of Rocket with a cokeny london axcent, and i've just heard it for real. oh how wonderful! great to hear we brits can make Rocket sound as ausom as the US actors do. hearing rocket calling someone a wanker in a brit axcent made mme neary fall off my chair laughing.
Aight. Racoon city is referenced 3 times. In the first quote, he is curious. In the second he clearly knows it's fate. The final time is in his ending where he goes there for a vacation, obviously not knowing the situation.
