Damn, games back then looks so colorful. Games that uses sprites aged so well. I'm not sure if this is the Steam deck OLED model but it looks clean asf
People who play MvC2 in this collection always skipped the result screen in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 not knowing that it was slanted. The original arcade game was not suppose to be like that cause in the original the result screen look normal.
that depends. I love capcom fighters and want to support them so they bring more of the classics to us. Plus I may get the itch to play some casual or ranked matches against sweaty try hards.
Thank you for this, sadly its the arcade versions and not the PS2 version which is WAYY better in terms of playing, unlocking characters and playing the other modes... wish it were the console versions of these games
X-Men vs SF is the updated Saturn version that released on arcades afterwards. Also, you still have training mode, what else do you need from the console versions?
The console versions were way worse, especially MVC2 PS2 version since it's described as having more lag than the Dreamcast version. And since these games were brought back for the hardcore fighting game crowd that's been asking for them for a while, naturally they gave us the arcade versions with a few tweaks for balance.
@@doclouis4236 true, the DC version was arcade perfect since the DC ran on a Naomi board, but the PS2 couldn’t emulate Naomi well as the Naomi was more powerful. Hence why all Naomi games were a pain in the ass to port to PS2 and were all inferior.
@@doclouis4236 the console versions are what made this game a gem, sure tje arcade version was great too and as a player of both I couldn't tell a difference other then one was in my living room and u had to grind to unlock characters, versus putting in a dollar to play at the arcade which i did once... tekken 5 and this were the last arcade games i played when they were still a thing
Marvel Vs capcom collection is playable also on the PS3 Xbox 360 even Xbox PS2 Dreamcast Nintendo 64 GameCube Wii Wii U if capcom was interested on releasing it for all those consoles it can run on any PC you have mame installed you will see all these games are playable on weak PC that can’t handle next gen games this isn’t a very powerful game asking how does it run on the Steam Deck the only console it would of failed on is the PS1 trash console that shouldn’t of got released to early
To actually play the real game online with players that actually practiced with the new training mode (Hitboxes viewer included) all in a good Rollback Netcode environment that feels like you're playing offline on the same machine? To get a pool of players to matchmake with in Casual and Ranking modes?
