I think she really has a good heart. This is because she did not forget the request of the elderlies she took care of to ask for a kiss from Ronan for them. I just thought she could have forgotten that because of the judges' overwhelming response to her.
I've lost count on how many times I came back to watch the video.. love everything about her.. her voice, her stage presence, her accent, her innocence, her smile & whatnot..!!! I am getting more & more amazed as I watch the video again & again... And I subscribed to her channel, of course..
Somehow it feels good to notice how many viewers(and listeners !)feel and do (reviewing over and over) the same as you and I. Exactly, word by word you wrote "my letter". Checking plenty comments, I never found so many people being fascinated not just by a well delivered audition. This video is so much more, it`s a magic monument of beauty and charms.
Because philppines is a poor country ... its like we are the performer... and the richer is the user of our work... its like we are always in the adrenaline.... we are always working.. while the rich is just relaxing using that work of ours...
Once there's a Filipino contestant in any singing competition...it's gonna be an AUTOMATIC WIN!!!...talent wise...no doubt that Filipinos are WORLD CLASS!☺️😍
She is a superstar, its a shame she didn't win. She needs to come to the Unites States of America and go on the Voice, she would win for sure. She has that special beautiful voice and can sing anything. Her vibrato is off the charts and people love her!
USA and UK were one of the most discriminative place in the english world. Ausie for me is one of the best. Most polite, most ethical. I just love them to bits and i do hope that this nation wouldn't be tainted with the same culture as with the west.
The only thing I didn't like in the whole video is the judges FIRST reaction. I saw how they judged her base on her look & the way she talks. But I don't know, I laughed when they realize how POWERFUL her voice is, how GREAT her voice is. Maybe, after Mary's perf, they already have a lesson. Don't judge the book by its cover.
By far a stronger audition than Marlisa gave, and yet they completely forgot that during boot camp. Sad, really. But... Mary Ann will have the last laugh and have a longer career and ultimately more success than most who were signed by Sony.
I don't think I would be able to stop watching this, she sang it like it was her own were Ronan's words and he was right. Simply loved her performance! Thanks Mary Ann.
Everytime a contestants says that they're gonna sing a huge song from highly reputable artists such as Beyonce or Celine Dion, the judges get REALLY weary... Then again, it makes the contestant A HELL of a lot more admirable when they pull it off successfully!
I've seen this video times and times again, and I love it just like the first time. Its very...very, I have no words, its outstanding. Congratulations.
I don't fucking know what's going on this year in Australia, but DAMN SO MANY TALENTS! This would be one of the best X Factors EVER, I mean in the entire WORLD!
There is always something about Filipinos when it comes to singing competitions, they rise above. Sadly no matter how great they are no one has become a global sensation. To this day only Lea Salonga made that mark but still not everyone has heard of her. Mary Ann's performance is outstanding and may Filipinos continue to shine.
+guyfanno1 I've always wondered about this. Do you mean that a part of the brain "directs" other of its components in charge of such things to sing the song as it was originally heard?
I produce music in the industry and im telling u now..this girl gonna win..if not this show, her talent soa4s..she's a winner regardless. I'll produce her. I l8ve her savvy and confidence.
What makes this performance extraordinary is the quality of the voice done on live stage and not in a studio. No offense meant to the original artist, but I like this better.
oh wow, I forgot how great she was first time I saw her on live television, I remember I had years of joy, because it was so unexpected,, I followed maryanne , and saw that she was an accomplished, singer and performer, how she hasnt made it into mainstream pop all over the world amazes me,, she absolutely puts many so called stars to shame, what a talent,, all the best maryanne ,,,
They were all ready to dismiss her because of the way she looked, her accent and her funny story, but then she starts singing and wow :D :D My favorite moment was at 3:49 when the host turns to one of her friends, and her friend looks at him like "you ain't seen nothing yet" :D
Hard work and desire pays off ! Her singing voice is definitely different than her speaking voice - Thanks ! In the Philippines It would be like having a US born citizen get up and sing in Tagalog ! Mahalo !
The power of music (and individual talent). She transforms from a bit awkward attractive woman into a graceful and sexy performer. Left me wanting more.
"I was not expecting this at all". How disrespectful these judges are... You are there to judge... not being judgemental because of what you see him/her physically. Pathetic Idiots
Joe Panique is just ignorant of what that phrase " I was not expecting this at all" means to English speaking people. To Panique it's an insult. lol To those judges it means "unbelievable or amazing". It's a great compliment!!!
Can't get over with this one. Mary Ann, you're the best! The moves, the voice, the personality, i love all of you! 😊 So natural, you nailed it as you said! Awesome! You just made me proud! It's a BIG YES for me😆.
9.000.000 views vanished on the thin air, I am pissed off!.This means the screwed up and trying to burry your success and their failure. You are a singer and a great one, we have confidence on your voice and professionalism.
