Yesterday January 15, 2014, many of Mary's videos and/or music have disappeared, have been removed from RU-vid! Or has been banned from viewing on smart phones. She is being silenced! This is horrid for her established fans and even more damaging for newcomers who will not be able to see her perform some of her most famous songs such as "Goodbye" and not hear her beautiful voice. How may this situation be reversed?
Sorry Pat, should have realized that you in the UK are not experiencing what apparently we are in the US. Specifically, we cannot longer see this video as it says "This video contains content from EMI Music Publishing and UMG who have blocked content in your country on copyright grounds" Others who have posted the same original black-and-white video of Mary such as "playlistpandal" with over 2.3 million hits and "Tarrykmwith" only 272 hits have also been blocked with the same message. Your post of Quand Je Te Regarde Vivre is blocked and simply says "this video is not available in your country" which means here in the US. Someone to watch over me posted by "Dovecott" is also blocked "Tthis video contains content from Warner Chapelle and UMT, one or more who have blocked content in your country on copyright grounds." Even worse is that the very popular Apple corpse goodbye video with Paul and Mary is also blocked siding an additional firm name of "Kobalt" along with the previous named EMI, Warner Chapelle and UMG. It would seem that there is a corporate war on Mary and some of her most popular music that people are looking for. Perhaps some of her songs are being limited from viewing on mobile devices such as my I phone five, and may not be blocked from viewing on a PC. However viewing RU-vid on a mobile device is now the most popular way most people view music videos. Perhaps you may be able to find out something from Mary's daughter? Jay W.
