Mary Lou Williams Interview (1976) 

What a wonderful person! She is a true American artist. I like what she says about learning Jazz. She's so right You can go to the best school that money can buy but if you don't have the music in you then you may as well just hang it up. Music; especially Jazz and blues has to come from the soul.
