This is quite possibly the most British film America has ever made. This film was made entirely in Los Angeles and yet for some reason the way they portray early 1900s London is really good
Well, besides the mainly British cast, the great backgounds were created by artist Peter Ellenshaw, the interior design and costumes by Tony Walton and the director was Bob Stevenson - all British. The Sherman brothers were Anglophiles and specifically wrote the music in a British Music Hall style. With all that input it is not too surprising there is a British feel to the film.
One of the best movies ever. Timeless. Enchanting. Unforgettable. It has such a beautiful feeling _ I know you don't say that, but that's really the best way to described the 'old London'... well... feeling it has.

After watching the new trailer I have a feeling I’ll be very disappointed. Nothing will ever be even close to the original. I mean the animations in the original are just so perfect they blend in perfectly
A masterpiece by Walt Disney starring the one and only JULIE aNDREWS, who is the only star who won an Oscar, a Golden Globe, a Grammy and a Bafta for her wonderful performance in her first movie! Practically perfect, isn't she?
1) It's a timeless classic most know (although 99.99% of my schoolmates dont) 2) Dame Julie Andrews is absolutely incredible 3) Supercalifragilisticexpiallydoscious 4) Possibly because there's the line in one of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies which a lot of people quote
Can't beat the original Mary Poppins recently watched this with my five year old niece twice yesterday I say 100 percent this is much better than Mary Poppins returns
