I hadn't planned on beginning a new canvas so soon in the year, but I couldn't help myself. As soon as I unboxed this one, I knew I had to work on it immediately. I love carousels and pink so win...win! This painting is so pretty and has a fair amount of color blocking. Follow me as I work on this one! There was quite a bit of static during the preparation but I managed to kit up without any accidents!
The video shows I was missing a small bag of AB drills. I actually found the "runaway" bag stuck to the back of the canvas!

I enjoyed working along listening to your kitting up your canvas! I love to kit up and thought about doing it for people and talked myself out of it! Moving to the mountains is something I have always wanted to do . Our family spends alot of time down in the Gatlinburg area every year. We rent a chalet and all of the family will go down for a few days! We have been going down there for the past 30 years!

It was definitely pop rocks and I saw them in stores last year 🙈 I used static guard on my pageant dresses and it worked wonders!

I have been finding some treasures today. I've found old photos and papers of my mom and dad. I want to do something special with them. Any ideas besides a regular scrapbook? I'm thinking of doing some homemade treasure books. I need to learn more about how to do them. I just made my first treasure book yesterday to use for the junk journal January challenge. I did the first prompt today. I am working on the diamond painting, Under The Stairs, for my son Jason. I just turned it upside down to finish it. I have a ways to go. I'm feeling really tired after being so sick. But I'm doing better each day. I hope you are doing well.

Hi Deborah, I think a treasure book would also be perfect for older photos or depending on the size of the photo, a travel journal. I’m glad you are starting to feel better!
