i like how this game has such a logical explanation for it's mechanics, as opposed to things just feeling placed in for the sake of being a mechanic. also the story is nice, I like the phone guy actually seeming to care and acknowledge that something is up
This game really is so ridiculously underrated. Seriously, the renders are incredible, the atmosphere is unsettling, and the AUDIO- absolutely chilling. This may be my new favorite FNAF fangame.
also, the camera monitor makes actual, like, physical sense now- in every Scott Cawthon FNAF game, the one serious detriment to the otherwise realistic art style has been the way the cam monitors "flip up" to cover your FOV. like, what? here, it's an actual >laptop< that you have sitting in front of you- you can see the top of it, it shifts around as you look around, etc

Well, seeing the paycheck in the end you get payed 200 dollars and If you do the same thing as people did to discover fnaf 1 date, you get 6,6 dollars per hour, and since the date is 05/26/200x, that means that Mary's arcade takes place in probably 2008/2009 (someone get me a doctor please)

This will go down as one of the greats, this is soooo Underrated, this should be up there with Popgoes, Five nights at Candys, One night at Flumptys, Marys Arcade deserves that. The *AUDIO* in this is sooooo good and soooo creepy, I love the vibe, the grainy cameras, and the fact the Animatronics go in a Circle around the Establishment, this is just soooooo cool, they really did well, now I wanna know the backstory, there’s no Killer is there, no William Afton type person, I know there’s a Golden Mary, like Golden Freddy, but anyway, everything about this is soooo cool~

i love how the mechanics in this game works! the way the buzzer and pa system work make perfect sense in the context of the world. the robots arent supposed to be dangerous, so why have heavy duty doors that you dont need? the way these robots work (or are supposed to work) fit into the supposed theme of the business. they’re freindly and inviting, the rooms are all brightly colored and playful in nature, even the office has warm lighting and a very comforting, familiar vibe. this setting makes for a perfect horrorgame. because at night, the bright colors are muddy and dim, the friendly designs of the robots are unsettlingly human yet so unfeeling, even the comfort of your office isn’t free from sharp, predetory eyes peeking at you from the dark. the dedicated walk patterns make it so you always know where they are, always know they’re coming. They’ll come by your room eventually. you have no choice but to use what little tools you have to make sure they simply walk by.

I LOVE THE WAY THEY MADE THE BEHAVIOUR AND MECHANICS MAKE SENSE instead of "yeah they walk. lmao." or "they are actracted to noise" they have "yeah we are testing their walking mechanics. so they are only set to circles" and the reason you have the buzzer and PA system is because of the complaints of a previous nightguard. uhyeah didnt joke when he said it was underrated
This game really is underrated. The cameras are a neat differentiation with the choppy, glitchy effects instead of the usual static. The scripted events are also a nice touch. The only thing I’d complain about are the jumpscares. They are kinda bad, rest of the game is great!
It weird and strange if you turn Caption when the call finished becauseeeee sometime the caption will say forgien now that’s strange but I suppose it could be worse if it said you will f__k up and you got jumpscared
