eu sempre odiei pq perde a essência única das vozes japonesas, mas esse em específico tive que me render! os dois Kakegurui as dublagens tão perfeitas, a escolha de vozes perfeita pra cada personagem, pelo menos nesse anime mudou meu conceito/pensamento sobre a dublagem desse tipo de anime

Imo it's because this anime wants to focus on gambling as a strategy versus OG kakegurai wants to focus on gambling as a philosophy (of insanity)

think about getting the manga then. the first 6 episodes only cover the first 3 actual books - and there's 14 books at the time I'm writing this. in my opinion its worth it, the suspense gets intense at times..

In the manga, it was shown that Jukaru was the one who personally sought out Mikura and beat her repeatedly until she forced her to submit, not the other way around. It's hardly your fault if you're chosen to be specifically beaten by Jukaru. Believe it or not, Mikura IS Jukaru's type. She doesn't want an equal because of her dominant personality. Also, "i refuse to acknowledge [the housepet] as a human being!" well, yes because she's 2D drawing lol Edit: Sayaka abandoned everything for Kirari's sake even her *morals* by her admission. She considers Kirai as a god-figure, she's not Kirari's equal because she doesn't even see Kirari as a human being and her love for her is more akin to worship. Tl;dr Sayaka is guided by her mad obsession, which why I find her to be more annoying than Mikura.

@@user-RS1122 you make some good points. I guess this anime's madness got to me more than what I originally thought. Also, I know the housepet...Mikura is a 2D drawing. And let's be honest, none of the followers of the main characters has a healthy kind of love. Not Sayaka, not Suzui... This is an anime about messed up teenagers who came from broken families and don't understand human values, because they were not raised to value them in the first place. So is it any surprise they give up their values ? Is it any surprise that to imerse yourself, you have to forsake some of your values too ?The only way to end this cycle of insanity...is to play. To follow Kirari's plan. Her biggest dream is to be free of her family. The current main arc is her final plan coming into fruition. Her power has been completely shakened and it's no longer fun. It's time to either pass the torch or watch it burn out. But she plans to go out in style. To lose right at the last moment. To provide the greatest gambling show.

@@user-RS1122 in short, thank you for calling my attention regarding Mikura, I promise to feel more compassion. But remember the other characters are already suffering karma for their actions. And said karma has to come fairly to them, given how they were brought up. I'm not saying they don't deserve the pain. No, it's quite the opposite actually, I believe in paying your debts when you violate certain values after all. But they also deserve the chance to see how they'll grow out of this. In other words, their destinies must be decided in the only way that's both harsh and fair enough. A dangerous gamble.

@@JabamiLain to clarify, I also dislike Mikura because I found her not to be a good person, despite her status of being arguably a victim of Sachiko Juraku. The way KKG Twin written their relationship was very weird, although Jukaru's treatment of Mikura was dehumanizing as it shown in Ch.28 the writing romanticized that kind of bond and portrayed Mikura as eventually appreciating it. So I don't blame you for not having a postive opinion. P.S I also apologize if I was rude somehow in my first reply.

@@user-RS1122 it's ok. I understand where you're coming from. Kirari and Sayaka's relationship being romanticized is one thing, since it was shown Kirari actually cares about her and Ririka, and her dream is to be free from the Momobamis. But Juraku is way too basic in her outlook on the world and her relationship with Mikura can in no way be romanticized in a favorable way. To even try and do so is too messed up, even for my tastes.
