Mary's struggle for survival and her strength through it all was lovely to watch! But when she died, i was happy for her that she found Francis in heaven. She needed some peace after a life fighting mostly on her own!
Both Queens lost Mary lost her life and the chance of seeing her son grow up and Elizabeth died without an heir, which marked the end of her family's dynasty.

The thing is, didn't everyone knew Francis would die and all that shit, like we Learn it in school..So if you know Mary Queen Of Scotts story then you properly will know the ending of it all. I mean everyone knows she loses Scotland to Elisabeth
but elizabeth never ruled Scotland. When Mary Stuart died, her country was ruled by regents until her son James reached the age majority. And when Elizabeth died with no heirs, James Stuart was proclaimed king of England as well.
SeriesPop she lost Scotland 19 years before her death. Her lords forced her to give up her crown in favor of her kid because she was a dumbass. Why, she went to England in the first place
The show was not completely true to history, so it could have become a "what if" story. I had not heard this story in school, but when I read the wikipedia page on Francis I also noticed the age of his death. It made me curious as to how the writers would incorporate it in the story, though I understand your point completely. I think it was more about how the story would get told and not exactly what the story was.

Her decisions made her fall but her legacy is extraordinary! She was loyal to her faith, her country and her people. And Elizabeth? She even stole her ladies dresses. Elizabeth Tudor brought the Golden Era to England, but at what cost? She said she did't know the reason why Mary asked for refuge and of course she knew! SHE WAS THE QUEEN. It was just another lie to get rid of her cousin. Every decision Mary Queen of Scots made was for a reason.
