She sat next to me and we waited around to go backstage to see Ronnie.We got to talking and I have 3 pictures of us.I have to find them.But she was a very friendly lady.May she rest in peace.

It's sad that I'm just now finding out about her. I mean I grew up with their music throughout the house, my mom would play their songs everyday, but I only knew about Diana and the rest were just background (harmonies if you will). Now that I'm listening to her story and watching her more, I think this woman was robbed of her stardom. She is very well put together, much like Diana, and she seems very smart and focused. I like this woman, I love Diana too don't get me wrong, but I feel they should've shared the spot light a little more evenly. Mary has just as good of a voice as Diana.

Everyone has a time to shine and a time to dim. Some people don't shine until long after their time, just remember that. Diana may be the star today but as we have learned so many times before throughout our short existence; A star is just a giant ball of gas, eating away at itself until it eventually explodes. Nothing is forever but the dark matter that we often forget even exists. It's there keeping the universe intact, and without it, stars would not even exist. I admire Diana, but to say she was the only reason a trio of talented women made it so far is a bit ridiculous. When I listen to " Stop! In the name of love" I usually sing the harmonies over Diana's part ( I like her first verse of the song, but after that I just usually sing the " baby baby, baby baby" and that's the part that makes me do silly dances and get into the song). I've heard others try and cover this song and no one does that part like the originals.
