Mary is messy.

As pretty as she was in this interview, Mary lacked poise and eloquence. She came across very bougie, starting out of the gate with "asking Barry for a Rolls Royce." Mary never really had true success of her own, always broke and having to borrow money from Diana. She never learned from the mistakes she made in her early years, as evidenced in her second memoir. RIP, Mary.

I will survive. With that beautiful voice if she had got up off that stool and really sung that song as the composer she could have really turned that show out.

+M Lane i saw your comment on mine, i just don't want you to misunderstand me, i've read the book and I don't think Mary responded the questions differently or badly, i just meant that it seems like the interviewer was asking her a lot about Florence, because it was obvious that he sees her as the one who Mary should had stand up for back in 67, and that she seemed at the end a little uncomfortable with that situation, but I agree when you said that she answered just like in the book. I myself don’t think that the book is bashing Diana, I think it says what happen through Mary's point of view, it doesn't mean it is 100% right or wrong, it was her point, and Diana has hers and Florence had hers as well. It is a great book, just like Supreme Faith.

As a young boy back in 1964, I doubt if the Supremes would have kept my attention for as long, or even if at all, if Mary Wilson had never been a member. From the jump, on that Where Did Our Love Go album, this kid said who is that pretty one in the middle, the one with that dark pretty skin, and she had me from then on.

Smoking hot chick. Great smile. Diana clearly stepped on alot of people to get ahead. I feel for Flo and Mary very much. The childhood friendship faded away fast when Diana had an opportunity to become a star.

Here’s what I find interesting about her relationship with Diana. Mary it seems from teenage years until now as senior citizens, has been the prettiest one. I wonder how that has affected Diana’s pettiness. Because from everything I’ve heard other than Gordy most men desired Mary. That had to add to Diana’s win at all cost attitude. Very interesting...

And to be fair she (Diana) was super pregnant at the time. Any interaction would have been stressful, opportunistic and the press would have had a field day. She sent a statement and let Mary have the spotlight.
