The Supremes only came to Brazil once. Mary, about twice. However, the connection she has with the country is incredible. Her last interview was carried out by our administrator, João Carneiro, also Brazilian. Enjoy!
Mary was always so beautiful and she looks outstanding in this video. Over the years Mary got better and better with her singing. Years ago I saw her at the Fairmont her in San Francisco and I could not believe how good of a singer she was. She was just an all around great talent and an outstanding human being. See was the one who kept the Supremes legacy alive after they disbanded. As someone said that Mary was the glue that kept the group together all those years. It was a shock to me when she died, it was like I just saw her latest post and the next day she was gone. RIP Mary and say Hi to Flo for me.

The Beautiful Legendary Mary Wilson ⭐⭐⭐💖💖💖. Mary was a sweet kind wonderful person and she had a powerful voice on her when she was with the supremes and her solo years.

I was always proud and loved Mary Wilson but I always wanted to stay away from some of the Supremes hits. Now what worked best for her and her voice was Reflections, My World Is Empty, and Where Did Our Love Go. The others and the arrangements I didn’t like on the other hits. I guess being clumped as an oldie but goodie singer she had to do a lot of the groups songs. When she’d branch out and do standards and jazz well that’s where Mary belonged. Vocally she sounded so much better. I miss her.
That’s Mary Wilson FORMERLY of The Supremes. That’s the correct, legal billing. When she sold all her rights of The Supremes name to Motown (which was only 50% of one third share) that was the legal agreement she signed. FORMERLY OF - not OF. Hope this helps.
