Why go in the first place to hell with Mecca, go to the beach it’s refreshing and not designed to profit off mislead acolytes. SIP Sister and brother😎🤓🇯🇲
I went to Saudi Arabia in august of 1990. It was a heat you can't believe. No one who is older and out of shape should go there. I was in great shape and the key is to keep drinking water all the time. They should have never gone.
I'm sure It was provided because they keep giving drinking water as charity; 😊in fact they go as far as using drones to distribute water but the thing is the heat is intense. May Allah SWT grant them Janna @@me-pz5yi
Indeed. From what the daughter says it sounds like this was their life savings. Sounds like this company is predatory. True vultures. I hope the family finds justice.
After reporting to the company they'll need to report to allah. At least they weren't trampled to death. Unfortunately that occurs every pilgrimage. You'd think someone would catch on.
51 degrees centigrade is 124 degrees fahrenheit. That's what the official temps were. Ridiculous to be out there milling around for some religious nonsense.
@@user-dv3kq3rm4h I read my Bible everyday. Yes it's says to Judge with righteous judgement The fact is , without Jesus nobody is saved. The word of God stands alone. Nobody can get to heaven without Jesus. Be blessed.
I was thinking the same. Do they not give the family a chance to come identify and retrieve the remains of the deceased? Wow! This is sad. Now she has to travel abroad unexpectedly. This is such a tragic, heart breaking, and expensive, disposition this family has been placed in. I’m so sorry for the loss of her loved ones. I pray she’s able to get through this and start to heal. May God, bless.
Islam doesn't believe in keeping bodies. The burial is done as soon as possible after death. Cleanliness is paramount, and dead bodies are unclean and can cause disease.
Like Orthodox Jews, Muslims DO NOT EMBLAM! Body DECOM- POSES FAST! Even in NORMAL Circumstances , no nation is PREPARED to FREEZE 1,000 or MORE BODIES! They ALL are in JIN’NAH !
No irony. It is an absolute mercy and sought after by believing Muslims. And we pray for them and feel the family pain but we say algamdulillah(praise God) for their souls are pure and heaven is prescribed for them. As a non Muslim you will definitely not understand our belief and our adherence to our lord. They are honoured and we a happy for them.
@@cellmate1yes and it is an honour in our faith. They are honoured and we smile for them. You may not understand this as a non Muslim but they are indeed honoured not only by but by our lord too. The trip was probably made months ago. Maybe this heatwave is unexpected. The issue is the tour company seems to not give them adequate food, hydration, and transportation.
@@akwaabab8504 Yes, like I said I was in the military serving in the middle east and I was a contractor over there when I got out. Any adult should know their limitations and the situation in which you are going into. At that age and not use to the heat they should have not been walking anywhere period. And they should have been eating to replenish the salt and other nutrients being drained from their bodies in sweat.Don't tell me you can't find food anywhere there. If there was not a service to chart them from location to location then they should have not been there period. WTF you talking about. I did 12 years in the Army we trained in the heat and cold. Know what you are getting into, know the lay of the land, and what supplies you need before you even get there. Cant blame the tourist company because those services don't always provide what they offer. Always have a backup plan when you are traveling overseas. They should have made their way to an aid tent and from there back to their hotel.
💔$20k,improper transportation & walked for hours searching for food? Sue that tour company. May everyone who perished in this pilgrimage RIP🙏🏽🕊️. Deepest condolences to their loves ones.
The greed of the Saudi Govt , Agents and ignorance of pilgrimage are issues to be tackled. Aa starters, no returning pilgrim should be allowed in a 10 year window. The injunction is a visit during a lifetime, not as many do go severally compromising the safety of others.
I can attest to the deadly heat of Saudi Arabia. I lived and worked there for 3 years. The summer heat is insane. I once tried to take a brief walk one afternoon back in 2015, but Iasted only 5 minutes outside. I'm so sorry that this couple passed away. RIP.
I can guarantee they were given lowest priority as a black couple. Never seen real racism until I visited Middle East. I suggest the daughter wait for more favorable conditions before traveling there herself. She will be treated no better.
Before traveling out of the US, please do homework on the country. Spending $20,000 for vacation without solid amenities is unacceptable. We as children of elderly parents have to ensure that they are making good decisions. Now, the daughter has to bear the burden of locating their dead bodies.
@@ablindman3328 & @gailcarey3597: Question for both of you: If you are going to worship an entirely fictional deity, shouldn't you at least pick a cool one with a mighty hammer? Americans, when traveling you do NOT need a tour company to help facilitate your efforts. That was normal prior to the advancement of technology in the 80's and 90's. You can absolutely do everything yourself and have a much better experience withouts the crooks and scammers taking advantage of you. God rest their souls. 🙏🏾

Degrees and career mean nothing. Sociopaths and psychopaths dominate those and other higher status jobs. They both act on self gratification at all cost. This is another example of such.
@@dnice374 Yeah, two separate things. The guy probably just read something about psychopaths and careers and wants to share it. Besides, in the medical field a career in surgery is what psychopaths gravitate to, not changing bedpans and holding hands.
How do you know this? I can only hope that some people considering this would not go in summer. Maybe even consider how kissing a black stone at a formerly pagan site is not idolatry.
@MollyPitcher1778 Because Jesus criticized religion MANY times. For this very reason....it leads people astray and down a path that is not life-giving. Be well and be at peace.
@@Fayw2023 There is another perspective. One that sheds no blame. Sincere and devout Believers went on their pilgrimage. We know as Believers their pilgrimage was accepted. . InshaAllah, next year the other pilgrims will ensure that the fellow pilgrim is also provided the necessities that come from the heart . You see someone thirsty...etc
Heat strokes. Over 1300 people died to worship a rock in Mecca. It looked like hundreds of thousands of sheep going to slaughter. I will pray for their families.
Kinda disrespectful to the faith. It wasn’t the rocks fault. Let’s stay on mission and say it was unavoidable by not travelling there this time of the year
I am a Christian . God is a God of love. Is not will that any should perish . We have to be careful hate have no part in our lives. As human life is precious , we shouldn’t celebrate any loss of human lives. Make sure we don’t only talk the Bible , but do . Love is the key to our relationship with God
Wait the tour group took 20k and didn’t provide transportation or food. That is insane. I went there few years ago and our tour company provided EVERYTHING. Hotel, food, transportation and more.
Maybe tour company advertised all these things (hotel, food and transportation) but once getting there nothing was provided so they probably thought they could still continue. This is terrible.
You are uneducated person! leave the other people religions alone. focus on fixing your mental illness May be that way you will find tolerance towards other people’s religions
U are a fool for saying that. Religious tolerance is respecting other people faith. Some people go to the Vatican, some bathe in the Ganges. Some walk on fire. It's not for u to criticize. To each its own
Another disrespectful lout. Again, as I’ve said elsewhere, this has nothing to do with the marble cube. Don’t travel to Saudi Arabia this time of the year to spend periods of time outdoors
My friend, you have just insulted billions of islamic faithful due to your belligerent ignorance and bigotry! Learn a thing or 2 before you start barking!
@@annegreengables6367You are ignorant. Before making such statements, I would suggest that you educate yourself about Islam. It is important to approach such matters with respect and humility.
@@chuckscott-cy7iq don't be sad about the mishaps in Islam... how can people come to your place for worship and many die, is this not pointing us to something about the religion in question?
I have read that thousands of people have died there to the lack of water and excessive heat. I’m so sorry for this young lady and her family. May they rest in peace and I hope things go well for her from this point on please be safe when traveling there there’s so many people there, but if it’s not hot when you get there, it will be Godspeed.
That's not true. Water ,even chilled water, is available everywhere you go on streets, around Haram, hotels, etc. The problem is that if you're not used to the kind of harsh weather, you may be affected. I was there in my mid-50s, and I had a 90-year-old roommate who went through all. We came back to Africa fine.
That's terrible. Feel awful for the daughter. I don't understand how Saudi Arabia is one of the biggest welfare states on the planet (the biggest?) but they can't protect their pilgrims from the weather. Hopefully the Kingdom learns from this and does better in the future.
The Saudis installed various methods of cooling and have first aid standing by (at THEIR peril) but thousands came without tickets which are the way they try to limit the numbers. Anyone without a ticket is left out in the heat and sun for the whole day. The real problem is their belief in an imaginary god that requires them to do this.
"Every single soul shall taste death" .No one questions the decree of GOD when HE creates man .People die every year from heatstroke in Europe without setting foot in the desert.Pray for every single person who departs this temporal world and try to ponder on your own ending. We Muslim are not worshipping the black stone but 1 and only God. For us Jesus (saw) is not God but a messenger like our prophet Mohamed (saw). Go get athe Quran and read it. Thx
That surprised me too. Do they not have refrigeration? Does the next of kin not have a say in the disposition? I suppose it would cost a fortune to repatriate them unless they had an insurance package.

More to the story here that Saudi is suppressing. Many, many more died. Inadequate accommodations for 1.8MIL people at one time. Imagine the contagious diseases that spread if someone had COVID in these crowds. It would spread so fast. But Saudi govt doesn't want us to think logically. What is suspicious? They went to a foreign country unacclimated to local climate during a time of intense heat, the municipality they visited had inadequate infrastructure for such a massive throng of people during a heat wave, which led to well over a thousand reported deaths. It was a high risk venture.
