Since I first saw it, I was wondering why this watch looks oddly familiar about this watch. Now I found out: when I squint, it looks like an Oris Aquis. Also the side profile has a passing resemblance, and it arguably wears smaller than its sheer size suggests for the same reason as does the Oris Aquis. The execution looks very nice; for example I noticed the exceptionally crisp dial print which I'm a sucker for. Well, as for the dial colour, I certainly would pick something else.

Yes, I agree, the case shape is indeed very reminiscent of the Oris case. The detail is fantastic on this, and as for dial colour, yes completely subjective, but I do love this stinger pink, it looks so dynamic and it’s something completely different, which I do really appreciate. Of course, not everyone’s taste, but plenty of dial colour options to choose from.

Very well done review mate, I really love mine. I have the orange dial version and its a cracking piece for the money. Certainly pulled off a bit of seiko magic too making it wear so well even on a slim wrist like I have.

Since I discovered the irukandji watch, I've been trying to obtain a purple one. They've got everything right in terms of design, they look fantastic. However there was only 50 purple ones produced and they've all sold out. What I struggle to understand is, if there's a market for something why end it's production 🤔
