Taijutsu works in real life . My taijutsu worked for me twice in real fights. It develops into muscle memory and will come out when u need it. I have enough trust in my taijutsu next time i need it.
its amazing how this art teaches about balance and awareness. ive been training in this art for over 3 years and I can tell you from experience that i can walk into any other school wether its bjj, karate, judo etc... and can quickly understand what is being taught vs. those that are from different arts that come to our dojo and see them struggle
I've only been training in this art for 1 day, and have noticed how I am already able to destroy Mike tyson with my little finger, and blindfolded, whilst balancing weightlessly on a domestic cats back.
@@jon82489 yeah, no problem. I became that good so quickly because my sensei demonstrated the "moves" by getting me to attack him slowly, and in a manner which nobody would ever use in real life. So he got me to punch him in a way which even a 10 yr old would giggle at, then i had to attack him slowly with a wooden knife, not aiming for anywhere particularly vital, but by lunging forward with an unnaturally wide stance and attacking his kneecap. Anyway, I took the lessons onboard, and now, anyone outside of the art should fear me. Anyone whose been doing these slow demos for a few days longer than me..... i bow to them, and fear them.
Modern Togakure-ryu and various historical claims are taught by Masaaki Hatsumi (Takamatsu's successor) and the Bujinkan organization. Criticism regarding the historical accuracy of the Bujinkan's claims of lineage have arisen from several issues of the Bugei Ryūha Daijiten: The 1978 version of the Bugei Ryūha Daijiten states that Takamatsu's Togakure-ryu "genealogy includes embellishments by referring to data and kuden about persons whose existence is based on written materials and traditions in order to appear older than it actually is."[38] The 1969 version of the Bugei Ryūha Daijiten states that Takamatsu's Togakure-ryu "is a genealogy newly put together by Takamatsu Toshitsugu, who made use of (took advantage of) the popularity of written materials on ninjutsu after the Taishō era" and that "there are many points where it has added embellishments, it has made people whose real existence is based on written records older than is actually the case, and so it is a product of very considerable labor".[39] The 1963 version of the Bugei Ryūha Daijiten states of Takamatsu's Togakure-ryu "this genealogy refers to various written records and oral transmissions and there are many points/places where embellishments have been added and people appearing in the genealogy are also made older than they actually are".[40]
people shouldnt really have purple hair. Besides this, Doctor Masaaki Hatsumi is a gem to humanity. Ninjutsu is a way of living your life, far more than a martial art.
He reminds me of o sensi the founder of aikido, in that he moves slow but with great technique, really cool to watch. Yeah he's not an mma fighter lol, but he knows what's up, and you can learn a lot from him
la Bujinkan sobrevivirá si los alumnos siguen el ejemplo de su mentor hatsumi y no se corrompen por el dinero, además de saber separar la ficción de los animes y las pelis de la realidad
Serious question here, the Japanese documentary filmmaker with the blonde hair was working on a documentary with Soke Hatsumi - does anyone know where to find this film now?
Yes it is a show because you can’t use it judo in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Street works best because it gives you options between a half of death or not hurting someone at all this talk is the old days before the Gracies cleaned up the floor
I trained some ninjutsu for just a few months. I stopped after a few months because here in the West is difficult to follow secret training. Nevertheless in 2 situations I acted with superspeed to save the lives of people. Amazing. It has to be this training as normally I am not that strong.
Ninjutsu technique and movement cannot be seen, it must be felt. Non bujinkan artists will not understand... if you have doubt... stick to the ego based combat sports... serves you better :) truth. Ninpo Ikkan
Firstly, ninjutsu technique in not was is being shown in this clip. It is the Taijutsu (unarmed combat) which forms a small part of the ninjutsu that is being demonstrated. Having been in actual combat as a bodyguard on more than a few occasion's, the point I am making is that these so called techniques simply will not work. I have also been to many BJK schools and can categorically state that NONE of the instructors or teaches could pull off these techniques under pressure. They ALL failed miserably!
Hahaha yes yes yes you guys are right! I actually haven't been in a street fight... my statement of ego based is uncalled for, please accept my apology. No I will not be able to taste what you have said, as I usually run very fast and far away... point taken and noted guys :) sorry

So Kokumaru, you think that you are a tough guy! Shame you have to hide your real name and use an avatar like all cowards do. Well, I truly hope that you are UK based as I am more than willing to go toe to toe with you. I am all over the internet so not hard to find.
Got to train in Japan in the late 90s with Hatsumi and the dai shihans and I just wish I could've gone more. Sadly the school is broken up but I think that was inevitable to create a fairness to the Japanese Shihans. Many high ranking western sensei's I spoke to thought there was a chance that soke could hand the sokeship to anyone even a gaijin. I think that was fanciful thinking almost arrogant because traditionally the art would go to a Japanese person.
ninjutsu is the greatest martial art,but the concept of training is uncompleted.I trained ninjutsu for a few years and learned many things, but i also trained on my hand gymnastic and power training , at the same time.I have a few street fight with a 2 and 3 people and i destroy them, realy, i swear. In the fight i do the things that was amazing, that i didnt believe i can do,almost from ninjutsu, but with very powerful and explosive movement. If you asked me ,ninjutsu must have a sparing, which is very important in martial art, that mean judo sparing,or kick boxing sparing, and power and explosive training, with that, ninjutsu as a martial art will be completed
A great narcotic person who exchanges awards for grades and still charges. Love to see his tax accounts as all training is paid i cash with no receipt or book keeping apart from behind the scenes. A great man that fell and his teachers would be turning in their graves.
Laughing all the way to the bank. How much cash changed hands in that dojo. No receipts or genuine accounting records. A cult and I left to study under a real teacher.
Nice talking good grandpa but these fight situations are simply never happening in real life or anywhere else except in that school. A dentist can design much realistic fight scenes. Sad for that time they’re spending there ,,plus money. It’s a cult believing and obeying without any condition. And that’s happening in the center of Japan.
The Master of Fools. Listen to this Con man boast of funny achievements, he sounds as if he is trying to convince himself as well. The ego is poisoned. The True Shinobi still operate in the shadows and do NOT sell their skills to outsiders. Their techniques are guarded and passed down within their families and clans, not shown in demonstrations like circus monkeys. This Is a disgrace to their honor. No wonder Bujinkan is the laughing stalk of the Martial world.
Obviously Frances special ninja force is not so great. Looks desperate for questions. poor encumbered. The Bo was awful as was the wildlife specialist.
Everyone likes Masaaki Hatsumi, but the gentleman performing the defense against two opponents one of which is holding a side arm has NEVER been in a real fight. The techniques that are shown are very poor and extremely dangerous and he would have been killed!
Jeff Cockmann I was part of the organization for many years, and the thing is that even the ones that know the tradition, and probably realized that Hatsumi Sensei is a fraud still practice it cause they are not willing to start from 0 after many of years of practicing , their martial art is not that bad though, this was not a good presentation of it.
+Jeff Cockmann just as I thought another keyboard warrior that has never trained, much less ever been in any real situation that required you to protect yourself or another.
It's weird how any keyboard warrior just dismiss this and at the same time military personal, FBI and such has studied this for many years. Wonder why..
why you need pope's blessing when ninjas aim is to find death pope is not a authorized person selling deadth i am not satisfied with this video ninjas can be great but not better then kalari
Not mad because of the hair at all. I left the Bujinkan for personal reasons that have nothing to do with hair. I have philosophical differences of opinion with him which make me unable to follow his teachings with honor.
