Hello!
What do you think of my new quilt?
This time, like many of my followers, I had a problem with quilting. Maybe the problem is the new material I used in the middle. Or maybe it's because I started quilting diagonally. But the back was very bad. I had to completely remove the first version of quilting. You will see the second version in the video. And this time I turned to hand quilting not for beauty, but in order to hold all the parts of the quilt well.

Beautifully done, Tatiana. I appreciate you mentioning that the project didn't come together without a struggle. Videos frequently make it seem like everything is so smooth and easy when any of us can have a problem and need to use the seam ripper, start over, and so on. This is a good reminder that even talented and inspirational quilters can have a difficult time and people who are new to sewing and quilting should keep going!

Not sure what I like better, the gorgeous quilt or the gorgeous dog😊. I’ve never seen a Pomeranian in that color. I’ve had Poms for over 35 years!

Wonderful design! It does have an oriental mosaic feel to it! I love your quilting also! Do you have a favorite part in making your quilts? You seem to enjoy it all from designing to quilting. I’m pretty good at making the top , but I’m not good at finishing.

Oh, Debra, of course I like making the top more. But also I like to be sure to complete everything. So I try to find positive sides in quilting too. For example, I imagine that it's a special method of meditation.🌹

@@oltasquilts2725 Oh yes, meditation during quilting is an excellent concept! I will definitely try to incorporate that into my quilting as I am sure it will make the quilting go more smoothly. I don’t have as much confidence in my quilting ability so I tend to get tension in my shoulders, but if I am meditating or in prayer I’m sure I will be less tense.

As always an amazing original quilt design, especially the quilt stitching design. I didn't fancy the fabric color choices. They seemed no to want to work together. Perhaps being in Ukraine it's difficult to get fabrics? Keep designing and sewing, I love your designs.

Thanks for the comment and your care. Despite the war, our postal services are working perfectly. Thanks to them, I can order fabrics from my favorite stores, I really like the combination of fabrics I used in this quilt. It reminds me of an oriental mosaic.

@@sjfuqua Hi, thank you so much! I don't really have a stash. I usually order fabrics for 2-3 quilts at one time and don't buy anything else until I finish all of them. And the choice of fabrics depends on my mood and on the planned projects. ⭐

Hi! It's very flattering, thank you. The size of the rectangle before cutting - 9,25 inches/13,8 inches. After stitching - 7,8/12,4 inches. 🌻

I LOVE your quilts although I'm always disappointed that you never state the size of pieces you're cutting or the number of the different fabrics to use. The video goes way too fast to count them or to determine the size you're cutting the strips. I love your color selections in every quilt I've seen. Thank you for sharing your masterpieces ❤

Thank you for your feedback. I try to show the method and process. Yes, I don't always specify the sizes and stuff, because I don't think it's very important. Any size can be made using this method. But I always answer all questions. So if you want to make such quilt, I will be happy to answer all of your question 🌹

Do wypełnienia używam materiałów syntetycznych. Mamy zarówno bawełnę, jak i wełnę, ale nie jestem pewna, czy będą dobrze trzymać się po praniu. A te materiały mogą wywołać alergię u przyszłej właścicielki kołdry
