Native Instruments have just released support for Maschine with their Accessibility Helper, allowing visually impaired people to navigate their way around it much easier. This is a huge deal IMO. Stevie could do it with almost any piece of gear without something like this and the Maschine is already very hands-on, BUT it's grown to have more layers of complexity than most machines from 30-40 years back.
I decided to put its accessibility to the test WITHOUT the Accessibility Helper by using a high-technology simulator for visual impairment. The goal is to sample some records, chop them up, put together a loop, and add some effects. See how it went.
